Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Better than everything else - 2003 Honda Accord
By chrislee - May 4 - 10:00 amEven though Consumer Reports rated the Passat slightly higher than the Accord, the latter is by far the best family sedan on the market.

Value + Refinement = GOOD CHOICE! - 2003 Honda Accord
By LXLOVER - May 4 - 10:00 amThe 2003 Accord LX is much improved over the older models. The constant din of road noise has been significantly reduced, the 5 speed automatic makes the standard 4 cylinder responsive and quick- enhancing overall performance. Im glad I didnt pay an extra 3 grand for the V6! Workmanship and fit are very good, and choosing a Japanese assembled unit over its Ohio or Mexican counterpart helped. I compared all three!

Love My Honda - 2003 Honda Accord
By domer2 - May 4 - 10:00 amI have had my Accord, 4 cyl. automatic for 6 weeks now. This is my first Honda. Did a lot of research on Honda and Toyota. Both ride well and have good reputation but styling sold me on the Accord. After I got the car I was just blown away by the quiet, smooth ride and solid construction. Gas mileage has been fantastic-over 30 on the highways. Plenty of pick up and passing power for me. Got the silver Acord and when clean on a sunny day I get lots of approving looks. Couldnt be happier.

Honda Accord Hybrid - 2005 Honda Accord
By Donald Bandy - May 4 - 2:13 amTraded in my 2003 Honda Accord V-6 for the new Hybrid model. Overall, there is not a lot of difference in the two, but the Hybrid seems a little more solidly built for some reason, and quieter also. Handles a little differently, but I cant really say which one is better. Acceleraton is better with the Hybrid, and of course the mileage is better.

no catch here! - 2017 Honda Accord
By dawn - May 3 - 6:41 pmI bought a 2017 Honda Accord Sedan in the beginning of 2017. I have had to bring the car back to dealership 4 times since my purchase and its been 8 weeks. The drivers side window has wind noise in the upper left corner of the window. It sounds like the door is ajar the noise is so prominent. You can only hear this noise when you accelerate at speeds of 55 mph or above. When I test drive the vehicle I did not get on the interstate so I never heard the noise. Although the dealership has been helpful, they have never resolved my issue. This noise is really LOUD and ANNOYING... I did drive another 2017 and heard the same noise, but I do not hear the noise when sitting in the passenger seat. These leads me to believe this can be corrected. The dealership has said their is nothing else they can do. I also found a TSB (technician service bulletin) for the accords for 2013-2016 with the same issue. I printed the bulletin brought the car in and they did attempt to correct the problem according to instructions on the bulletin. As of today, March 6, 2016 I still hear the noise and am so very disappointed in this issue. I love everything else about the car. I would get rid of it tomorrow if I wouldnt loose money.

nice seats - 2003 Honda Accord
By lmkwin - May 1 - 11:30 amThis car has the best seats in the class. The ride is a little too firm compared to the camry. If they could put the accord seats into the camry then you would have the perfect car, imho. It has its share of rattles. Its performance is excellent. could use lighted controls on the wheel and the paint is very thin. Think that I will be switching back to the camry shortly. The seats are all that is holding me back. Overall a nice car for the younger crowd. Middle age may want more refinements.

ValuePackage is still great car! - 2006 Honda Accord
By Amanda - May 1 - 9:30 amLike most consumers, I narrowed my new car purchase down to either a Camry or an Accord. After test driving both vehicles, the answer was clear-cut. The Accord is a better looking car inside and out and the few options that I do not have on my car are outweighed by the fact that side- curtain airbags were included, where Toyota wanted to charge extra for them. The vehicle has tight handling and responsive acceleration that I did not find in the Camry I test drove. Add in the courteous and professional service I got from the Honda dealer (that I did not get at the Toyota lot) and I bought the car before leaving the lot the same day I test drove it.

Oustanding reliability - 1990 Honda Accord
By Pete T - April 30 - 5:55 pmThis car has over 380000 KM on it & is still incredible. We bought it in my first year of college and it has been faithful & reliable ever since. With the exception of regular wear & tear, & routine maintenance, we have not had to contribute to any major repairs additionally, during a recent cold-spell in mid-December 2008 where the temperature dipped to -37 C (-52 with the windchill), we did not need to plug in our engine block heater. The car has been outstandingly reliable in the most extreme temperatures consequently, our family is now comprised of a number of Honda Loyalists & it will take an inordinate amount of force or compulsion to convince us otherwise.
