Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Excellent car - 2003 Honda Accord
By Jay - June 4 - 3:26 amI needed a car with good fuel mileage. This one has it. Its a 4 cylinder engine, but that 2.4L easily does 80 mph on the interstate at 2600 rpm. The dashboard is well lit. The radio/climate controls are very easy to adjust while driving. The car rides very smoothly on the highway and when you have to punch it to pass, it can move. Fuel mileage is excellent. Averaging around 27 mpg with most of my driving on the highway. The car is comfortable (Im 62 and I have a good 2.5 inches of headroom) and roomy enough for a family of four. Cargo space is plentiful for a car this size. Adequate stereo. Also a very quiet ride.

Awesome car - 2007 Honda Accord
By dmsnms - May 31 - 11:54 pmI just traded my lease in for a horrible 09 Civic. Boy do I miss my Accord! Great styling, smooth ride, loved the trunk space and LED tail lights, engine performance was fabulous. Had enough room for two car seats in the back with room for an adult to sit as well.

By raysgirl - May 31 - 7:40 pmI have owned several sporty cars of varying makes and models and this is by far the BEST car Ive owned. The V6 engine accelerates quickly and easily. Love the navigation system...wont own a car again without one. No complaints at all! Highly recommend. If you test drive it, youll fall in love!

Mixed bag - 2008 Honda Accord
By dkwells1029 - May 31 - 2:06 amTraded in my 2006 Accord SE. Loved it. The driver seat in the 2008 is much more comfy. Pick-up is much worse. Stereo sound quality is worse. There is much more room in the 08. Ride noise is similar. Tires on the 06 were of better quality - I got over 80,000 on my 06 Michelins. So its a mixed bag. Overall, Im satisfied. The 08 is a nice car and still offers the best combination of size and fuel efficiency.

V6 EX-L Loaded w Nav - 2008 Honda Accord
By Sandy - May 31 - 2:00 amLooked at E 350 MB and Acura RLs both very nice cars. The Acura comes loaded but is made by Honda so we figured to try the Honda Accord v6. It didnt have as much luxury inside but the car was hard to beat. What a GREAT car! My first Honda and so much fun to drive. Loaded with Deep tinted windows, black leather w nickel trim, sweet. Outside is Polished metal. Really great with Tinted windows. Navigation system is WELL worth the money. It is so powerful and takes you anywhere. Blue tooth was very easy to pair with the car and talking on the phone in the car is great. Everyone hears well and it is a surreal feeling. The car is so cool. I cant say there is anything I dont like about this car.

Great Car - 2006 Honda Accord
By Jake T - May 29 - 8:03 pmFirst off, through Mercury insurance the SE is cheaper than an EX and an LX. Dont know why or how but it is! For 1500-2000 more we could have purchased the EX, but for better rims and a moonroof it wasnt worth it. We went from a 2004 Civic to this, and must say that its the best decision ever. Love the new body style, especially the upgraded rear tail-lights. The Graphite Pearl color is flawless as well.

Bought for 15K+ Trip - 2010 Honda Accord
By Jerry - May 29 - 3:00 pmBought my Accord EX-L for a four month trip we had to cut shot after six weeks. We will finish in about 2 months. Traveled about 6K and got about 29 mpg overall for the trip. It got better with each tank full and we had a car full of stuff and driving 70 mph. Ride very smooth and comfortable. Plenty of space for us and all our goodies.

Actual owner review - 2005 Honda Accord
By Gemini8801 - May 29 - 2:00 amThis car is simply amazing. Everything from the leather seats to the XM radio is wonderful. The performance from the 4 cyl. is more than adequate, no need to spend extra for the v6. A complete pleasure to own and drive.

Great so far - 2002 Honda Accord
By lynchmi - May 28 - 10:00 amDid alot of research on this car before buying. Originally wanted a 5 spd 4 cylinder coupe but they were very scarce so I was concerned about resale. So far, everything works great and the car is a blast to drive. Also considered the Acura CL but decided the price range was too high for a coupe. Getting 23 miles around town and 27-79 on highway. This car has great, precise steering and a tight ride. My wifes 99 Maxima feels mushy after driving the Honda. Highly recommend this car.
