Overview & Reviews
As the model was fully redesigned for the 2003 model year, there are only a few changes on the 2004 Honda Accord. Availability of side curtain airbags has been expanded this year to four-cylinder EX models -- standard on those with leather, optional on cars with a cloth interior. All four- and six-cylinder EX models equipped with a leather interior now have XM Satellite Radio with three months of free service as standard equipment. And as with all Honda cars this year, a new seatbelt reminder system is standard. Accord models meeting California's stringent Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle (PZEV) standards -- all four-cylinder sedans equipped with automatic transmission -- will also be sold in the states of New York, Maine, Vermont and Massachusetts.
- Tight build quality, quiet cabin, refined and powerful engines, reputation for quality and durability, high crash test scores.

Just OK - 2004 Honda Accord
By Soccerizer - January 21 - 2:00 amGood looks inside and out but only 25mpg mixed hwy/city with light touch on gas. Engine not that smooth and too much wind and road noise on fwy, so I have to crank up the radio to hear it. Be sure to test drive before you buy. I didnt. Based my decision primarily on reviews from this web site.

Outstanding Ride - 2004 Honda Accord
By Michael A - January 21 - 2:00 amLooking for a car for the wife. She wanted a Toyota Camry, but after taking a test drive and comparing vehicles, Honda was the way to go. This is a first in buying a fully loaded top of the line Accord.

Not what I thought either - 2004 Honda Accord
By Rob - January 19 - 1:40 pmWhen youre researching a car, its easy just to go off of the reviews without actually asking yourself what you want. I research for months before buying this car, after a while I got HONDAITIS, a condition where you start to believe that HONDAs are holier than thou. I pictured myself happily driving it for 10 years. Once I owned it, I knew that it would be a boring 10 years. After a month I got tired of the bland grey interior. The transmission shifted great, but the engine was weak. Remember an I-VTEC Honda 4-cyl is still only a 4-cyl. I bought a 2000 Grand Am V-6 for a work car a few months after the Accord. My wife started driving it and made me drive the Honda, that says it all.

By Milkduds - January 15 - 2:00 amAlmost 12000 miles and still as if I just got the car. Great power and a good ride. Safe and dependable. Well worth each and every dollar spent. I suggest getting the moon roof visor.

What a great value... - 2004 Honda Accord
By fferrazzi - January 15 - 2:00 amAfter looking at other cars and test driving- I looked at the VW Passat and Mazda6 but wasnt impressed! I traded in my Civic- night and day to this wonderful smooth Accord. I would anyone to get one who wanted a reliable, nicely designed car around $20k. I added a spoiler to make it sporty b/c Im young. I got a great deal and everyone should know that you can get them for invoice price. Ive only had it a week but it has great peep and nice gas mileage plus extra features I feel make it like a luxury car!!! Forget the Passat,Camry, Mazda6- GET the ACCORD!!!

5 yrs 120K still drives like new.. really - 2004 Honda Accord
By RNarenDMD - January 12 - 1:50 pmI traded my 03 BMW 530i for this car in 2004 due to reliability issues. At the time, I really felt I was taking a step down. However, this is hands down the best car Ive ever owned. What it loses in coolness, it makes up for with quality, comfort, economy, & bullet proof reliability. I have over 120K on it now. Apart from routine maint. it has needed nothing. Not a single thing. No squeaks, rattles. Interior materials top notch, wearing well. Engine actually has more pull now than when new & smooth as ever. Avg. 25mpg on regular. Have tried to come up with a reason to trade it in for a fancier car, but cant. Still offers more features than many new luxury makes in 2009.

EX-L Nav V6 Coupe - 2004 Honda Accord
By Imezgoin - January 10 - 10:00 amI traded in my 540 BMW for the Accord, and I had to give up a few things; outrageous repairs, unreliable performance, arrogant service, haughty atmosphere and lousy cupholders. For that I got one super-fun to drive car that gets 25 MGP around town and as much as 34 MPG on a long highway trip, all on regular! The Nav works great, the 6 Speed is tighter than the 540s, and yes it has real cupholders. Great job Honda!

Whats not to like? - 2004 Honda Accord
By yobrooklyn - January 10 - 10:00 amFor $199/month, I cant imagine a better lease deal out there. This car is solid, quiet, roomy, nice to look at, and, as a Honda, will probably still be running in 50 years.
