  A good commuter but not much for fun - 2007 Honda Accord

  I bought my Accord new in 3/2007 and it now has 29,000 miles on it. Its been mechanically reliable but it does have minor quirks: dashboard rattles, hard uncomfortable seats, door tape that keeps bubbling/wrinkling up, and weak paint that chips easily. Ive had to take it to the dealer several times to get rid of a check fuel cap message that was caused by a faulty evap system in the gas tank. Other than that the cars been reliable. It gives me 28-29 mpg in my commute. Tops is 31 mpg when I drive like a granny. Its a good car but it lacks passion. I have a lot more fun driving my 2001 Firebird and the seats are more comfortable in it too. Still, the Accord is reliable and cheap to feed.

  A really dependable and basically fun car to drive in the 5 speed manual transmission model. Put 11,000 miles on this car in six months of driving it. A multitude of features that speak well of Hondas attention to driver and passenger needs. Would have bought a 2005 model, but my dealer bumped the model for model price up over $3,000 above what I paid for this car.

  Well built Honda - 2004 Honda Accord

  I have had my 2004 Honda Accord for over two years. I am very happy with it. The V6 engine is very powerful which makes it great for highway passing and merging. All this power on regular gas (unlike the Nissans). This car handles extremely well and is very nimble in city traffic. The interior quality is top notch for a car of this class. My two wishes for this car are stronger brakes and heated mirrors. The problems I have had to date are that my engine check light came on at 5000 miles due to a loose emission canister and warped brake rotors at about 35000 miles which caused some steering wheel vibration during braking at high speeds. These issues were repaired under warranty.

  With regular maintanence, I have had zero problems. What it lacks in power and racing qualities, it makes up for in ease of driving and quality workmanship. Honda has made an extremely dependable and enjoyable car.

  2006 has noticeable road noise. After new tires (Michelin), doesnt start as well. Its like Honda wanted to save money by building a lighter and cheaper car. Well it is made in America...

  Just bought a used Accord Hybrid! I love it so far. Averaging 33 mpg. Handles great and has awesome brakes. Love having the 255hp when I need it, and the hybrid components when I dont!

  I am very happy with my purchase of my second honda. I replaced my 1990 honda and am thrilled. It drives as smooth as glass. It handles beautifully. Am anxious to get my gas mileage count.
