Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Honda 2003 PRH 6-09 - 2003 Honda Accord
By Hugret - June 30 - 3:57 pmThe car has proven to be the best car I have owned in 45 years of car ownership. Other than wear parts nothing has had to be repaired. My last highway trip was a round trip 300 mile trip and I averaged 30 MPG. Not too shabby for a 6 1/2 year old car!

Bad Seats - 2006 Honda Accord
By bohemianwild - June 30 - 2:29 pmI got the lowest model - the LX - and the seats are horrible. They are very stiff and there is no lumbar adjustment. If you have a bad back I would not recommend this vehicle. Overall the car runs and looks great! I am just disappointed that Honda makes such a great car with horrible interior. Also, the brakes are a little touchy.

VERY safe car - 2002 Honda Accord
By jconley78 - June 30 - 12:36 pmWe were involved in a serious car accident a month ago. We were stopped in traffic on the hwy and a lady hit us in the rear without slowing down at over 70mph. We all walked away. Thank you Honda! No prior problems with the car, it was fantastic to drive. QUALITY all around. It was only a 4 cyl but because of the V-Tec engine it had the power PLUS the gas mileage. BUY HONDA!

The Best Ever - 2004 Honda Accord
By Eric Larson - June 30 - 10:00 amIve had my Accord Coupe for 3 months and 3,000 miles now. This is by far the best vehicle Ive ever owned. The handling is superb. The interior is unmatched for comfort, function and design. Being over 6 foot tall, seating is very important to me and this Accord is perfect fit for my lomg legs. There is plenty of thigh support. The power drivers seat makes finding an ideal driving position easy. Combine that with a tilt, telescoping steering wheel and youre all set to go. The audio controls on the steering wheel are a great touch. This vehicle handles like a kitten and has more excelleration and power from a V6 than you could possibly use

Good to Great Car - 2004 Honda Accord
By NCRaider - June 30 - 10:00 amThe Accord is simply one of the best overall cars on the market. While its not particularly strong in any one area, no other car I know of offers the same combination of performance, economy, safety, and reliability. Simply put, its the best overall car on the market. I guess thats why theres a zillion on the road. Its not a "statement" car, but if you want a good car thatll last a long time then you cant do any better.

Great car - 2004 Honda Accord
By In Accord - June 30 - 10:00 amGot sick of spending money on big fixes for a 97 saab 900 turbo convert. This car is rock solid; the 4-cylinder is just fine. Classy interior, NAV and voice systems are fantastic as well. My first Honda (after many Toyotas over the years), and the first 5000 miles have gone smoothly. I have concluded that dual climate control is ridiculous, however.

Rocket! Hidden Monster. - 2005 Honda Accord
By Anthony - June 29 - 2:24 pmWhen people seek Hybrid, they want 40+MPG. This car will not give you that. What it gives you is the Legendary Honda reliability, no non- sense practicality, and utmost dynamic performance. My previous car was a BMW 325i, and aside from being FWD, the Accord performs up to par with the German Counterpart. Steering is tight, acceleration is quick, but cornering have to give it to BMW due to the RWD configuration. Only problem I had with the Honda was a Master Pwr Door lock module which was covered under warranty, and a check engine light on when I gun the accelerator. Dealership said it was a Hybrid sensor error with the electrical motor, it seems a software upgrade fixed that problem.

Whats going on with Honda? - 2009 Honda Accord
By jlloyd - June 28 - 11:56 pmThis is my wifes car and she likes it me, not so much. Performance is very good and the ride is better than most within this size of car but the problems appear with the brakes and engine. Both the check engine and brake light come on and, at times, the engine runs very ruff, almost to the point of stalling; turn the car off, restart and it returns to running normally. The brake light is on most of the time but maybe its our winters in Wi. The dealer says there is no computer "error" info so they do not know whats going on. Its pretty bad when you are questioning whether you should take this "new" car on a long trip because of this intermittent problem. What happened with Honda?

Best value for the money - 2008 Honda Accord
By Yo from Michigan - June 28 - 5:43 amAfter researching several sedans in this category, I zeroed in on Accord. overall I am a happy camper. In the first two weeks of my driving, I averaged around 29MPG in mixed driving conditions. not bad for a big car. I would guess around 33 in pure highway driving. The interior room is enormous. All the safety features are standard in all Accords unlike Toyota where you have to pay for some. I selected EX-L, since I wanted leather, premium audio, dual climatic control and heated mirrors. these features were once the holy grail of luxury cars. 190 HP engine is a good compromise for performance and fuel economy. My biggest gripe on this car is the road noise. Honda can do much better with this
