Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

This car is more than perfect. Sure the break pads wear a little. But the soul of the car is unstoppable. Once in a while, people get stuck with a Honda that has been through a flood, or had an engine rebuild in Puerto Rico. But for those of us who are multiple Honda Owners, who have seen the light, there is no other choice. This particular car that I own now, I bought in 2008 with 80,000 miles on it already. Im up to 100,000 now a year later, and this car is begging for me to take it X-country. Not a SINGLE PROBLEM. I am a road jockey and I know what a thoroughbred feels like. Honestly, I want to go back and give it 10s in every category, but I dont want to lose my credibility. -)

I really like this car, the special edition is the way to go with the alloy wheels and 6 disc cd changer and audio controls on the steering wheel this car is quite a deal. It drives well especially on highways and accelerates quickly without being overpowering. It is very sporty. I had a choice between this car and the 2006 Camry and I am very happy with my choice the Camry made me feel older and it was boring. I will never buy anything other than Honda and Acura.

  • One of the best cars that Ive ever owned! - 2007 Honda Accord
    By -

I recently decided to part ways with my 2007 Honda Accord and trade it in for a new Kia after 5 years of ownership and it has been one of the best cars that I have ever owned. In five years time, the only major things that Ive had to do with that car are: timing belt replacement, water pump replacement, starter, and a power steering pump replacement. This car has been a truly reliable vehicle and extremely well built and Im extremely impressed by the reliability.

  • A solid choice - 2007 Honda Accord

A very good car. No problems except for a grinding noise in back window when raised or lowered. Warranty covered it. -Lots of interior room. -Good (not great) mileage. 25/26 city, 33/34 highway. -Smooth 4 cyl. engine. -Nice manual tranny. -Should last for a long time! -Nice, intuitive controls.

  • Very Impressive for an Accord - 2007 Honda Accord

Ive owned Hondas ever since and have been happy with them but wanted to try the luxury version so had my eyes set on the 07 TL. At first, I was reluctant in considering the Accord but with gas prices on the rise and after doing multiple researches, reading reviews and such, I gave it a try. Ive had it for 2 wks now and am enjoying every minute of it. I avg 33.6 mpg mixed driving with A/C, navi, and CD on! It has good acceleration, enough power, smooth and quiet ride. I recommend this car to anyone looking for comfort, functionality and efficiency. Honda has lots of standard features that other manufacturers offer as options.

  • Hondas the way to go - 1998 Honda Accord
    By -

I bought my Honda Accord new and now have 83,000+ miles on it. It is a fun car to drive, comfortable on long trips or around town. Only maintenance reqired has been routine service checks, some brake work and a new battery after 80,000 miles. In town mileage is about 18 and highway can get up to 30 mpg. Only complaints are wind noise and squeaky moon roof that the dealer just cant quite get a handle on. I intend to keep it until it can roll no more and then will buy another Honda.

  • Overrated - 2004 Honda Accord

Accord is overrated, overpriced, underpowered and suffers in reputation from highly aggressive dealer sales tactics. Honda cut a lot of cheap corners by omitting basic items that should be standard on a car this expensive - automatic door locks; heated side mirrors; automatic dimming rear view mirror; auto cutoff for rear defroster. It would not have cost $200 to add these items, yet all were left off to try and bump buyers into the "Acura" version of the same car for $10k more. I get irritated every time I drive it. Alleged 240 hp is laughable exaggeration. Ive had four cylinder cars that had more pep.

  • Awesome Car! - 2000 Honda Accord

My first car was a Honda Civic that I loved, so I wanted an Accord for my next. It was the best decision! I have had this car for 5 years and it now has 147K miles, still going strong. Nothing but routine maintenance, so reliable. I would highly recommend buying this car!

  • Affordable Luxury - 2006 Honda Accord

I looked at everything out there. I wanted leather, wood grain interior, dependability, and sharp looks. For my price range, it came down to a Certified Used Acura or a brand spanking new Accord (I tested Camry and Altima and they werent in the same class). Obviously I went with the Accord and have been very pleased for the last 2 months.

  • Awesome 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th Car - 1997 Honda Accord
    By -

Bought car from original owner with 195,500 miles and complete service records. Hit 200,000 on July 4th. 1st owner was rear-ended in 2002, the only major repair. Car is brand-new feeling. Drives VERY smooth @ 90 MPH. I have driven it on several long trips (550 miles one-way), in hot, cold, bright, dark, dry, and wet conditions, without any problems. Averaged 30MPG @ 80-90MPH on those trips. Only need to make ONE stop because car is so comfortable and good on gas mileage. Car is very reliable and fun-to- drive. Has good around-town and passing power and great brakes. I highly recommend this vehicle.
