Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Great mileage - 2007 Honda Accord

Had my accord for 4 months now, I was hoping when I bought the manual tranny, I would get better mileage. I drive mainly on country roads, so not town or highway, my vehicle is averaging between 31 and 33 mpg in these conditions. The car handles great and is fun to drive, great job Honda, a satisfied customer.

  • Best car for the money, period - 2004 Honda Accord
    By -

I love my Accord. I put on about 30,000 miles a year. I am around 155,000 currently. No major mechanical issues at all. Major cost are 50k, 100k and 150k scheduled maintenance at the Honda dealer. Brakes lasted 75k miles before replacement. Shocks lasted 140k before replacement. Still have orig. exhaust which is unheard of in NH. Very comfortable, sporty ride and performance. Perfect mix of sport and comfort. Liked much better then Camry or Maxima. Do not waste your money on a 3-series BMW! Accord V6 with leather - cant be beat.

  • Another great Honda - 2010 Honda Accord

Purchased an Accord EX-L 4dr, 4 cylinder automatic after looking at Camry, Mazda 626 and Ford Fusion. All around comfort in the Accord is heads above the others I looked at. The seats are comfortable for both front and rear passengers. Displays and control knobs are easy to reach and easy to operate. Ride is quiet and smooth on the highway and the 190hp engine provides more than enough accelleration merging into traffic. Honda also is willing to deal these vehicles, I got mine for $1100 under invoice, with some extras also added. If shopping for this size sedan, give the Accord a try, I do not think you will be disappointed.

  • Best in Class Value - 2006 Honda Accord

2006 EX-V6/AT We have a 2004 Accord and needed another car. Test-drove the new Camry, Acura TL, and IS350. All great cars, and honestly didnt want to have two of the same car, but there was really no comparison. The steering feel, performance, ergonomics and comfort of this vehicle cant be beat at this price point. The Camry is very quiet and has more rear seat room, but not nearly as fun to drive and lacks the same standard features. The 2006 is definitely more fun to drive, might be the drive-by-wire throttle but this Accord gives more steering response and the suspension is more sporty than the 2004 EX V6. Couldnt stop smiling driving it home from the dealership. No contest. Honda definitely improved steering feel and agility over 2004 model which was my main complaint back then.

  • Great Car! - 2000 Honda Accord
    By -

I bought my Accord new in 2000. It currently has 227,000 miles on it and still runs great. The car has always had the scheduled maintenance done by the dealer and I have only had to replace the alternator (2007) and the starter (2009). The gas mileage isnt fabulous but the quality, durability and reliability far exceeds my expectation for any car.

  • Honda Accord a so-so car - 2007 Honda Accord

Had a problem with the passengers window that Honda would not fix. The dealer did fix it free of charge. Problem with the power steering leaking when under warranty. No problem found until end of warranty. Honda fixed it without charge because it was noted on the service report during warranty period. Brakes had to be replaced early. Tire had to be replaced at my cost.

  • Great Reliable Car! - 1991 Honda Accord
    By -

I purchased this car brand new in 1991 and I love this car! It has been the most reliable car ever. I have kept up oil changes, replaced timing belt, replaced air conditioner, replaced cv joint and just recently replaced the alternator. I had it repainted and windshield tinted and replaced the hubcaps with new Honda ones. Still a beauty and the shape timeless. This car has 220,000 miles on it and I hope to see another 100,000 miles!

  • Fantastic Car if you dont have neck/back probs - 2016 Honda Accord
    By -

I have had this car for a month and driven 1000. Let me start by saying I have not had any previous neck or back problems. I had problems on the 1 1/2 hour drive home from the dealership. My right leg started to go numb and my neck was killing me. I just figured I didnt have the seat adjusted properly. I readjusted the seats and no longer had the leg problem. I was able to determine that the problem was with the headrest. It is angled so far forward it pushes your neck into an awkward position. I had pain and tightness running from the right side of my neck all the way to my lower back. I thought of just removing the headrest but that obviously is not a solution for safety reasons. For a month, I tried different seat positions and couldnt find one that work. I am very sad because I LOVED this car. Right now, I am in the process of trying to make a deal for a new Camry. If you look on line, you will see that the headrest has been a problem for many people.

  • Road Noise, but wait theres more....... - 2009 Honda Accord

My review is just that, mine. I have owned several cars in my life from Mercedes to Chevy. I am unhappy with this Honda product. My wifes 1992 Accord was a better car. Period.
