Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Love the power and ride - 2004 Honda Accord
By 6 Speed - July 30 - 10:03 pmIve had this car for over 5 years with 68K mileage. No major mechanical problems. The car radio Headunit backlight did go dead the the dealer, replaced it. This was a TSB from Honda to all dealerships. Their is some road noise but thats because the car has a lower clearance than Toyotas. The lower clearance gives honda a better handling and feel of the road where the Camry feels like you are floating going all over the road. For a V6 this car gets good gas mileage, 18-19 city and 29-30 highway. The fauk leather in the drivers seat does where down and stretch but no cracks.

1997 Honda Accord - 1997 Honda Accord
By Paul - July 30 - 9:22 pmSimply the best car I have ever owned. Have owned Gm, Chrysler, etc and they dont compare reliability wise. Simple car, which is why they last as long as they do. 250k, tires, oil changes and brakes. Fantastic car....

fun for the buck - 2003 Honda Accord
By rich - July 30 - 3:26 pmBought it with a few dings in it, but over all in great shape. Its a little four banger, but zips around town. Brakes like a champ and handles turns quite well. Very pleased with my purchase. Waiting to see how it handles in the snow and go from there.

Work horse - 1995 Honda Accord
By Rick Franks - July 29 - 11:11 amPurchased my wagon when it had 57,000 miles on it, now has 140,000. The only "problem" was the antenna stopped working [repair estimate $425.00] so I went to a stereo shop and had a window antenna installed under the rear view mirror - works great.

Honda accord ex coupe - 1999 Honda Accord
By JKirk - July 29 - 10:00 amThis is a great vehicle. I feel in love with the LX but could only afford the Ex version. I have not been disappointed. I have had no problems other than: -a seatbelt attachment replacement - a brake sensor needing adjustment - door locks going out Most of these things were covered by warranty. Although I do not have the V6, I still like how this car performs, rides, and looks. After four years, I am still very happy with it and plan to hold onto it for quite a while. Its nice to know that Hondas really hold their value in case I do decide to trade in.

Looks like they did it again... - 2003 Honda Accord
By Bantaman - July 29 - 10:00 amWhat a wonderful car to own. Powerful, Comfortable...WOW. I just got 35 mpg on my first trip. How do they do it? The only thing I can comment on as far as a suggestion, it is a little soft in the suspension when you drive aggressively, while the ride seems a bit "busy" on rough roads. However, its all Honda quality!!!

Love my Accord - 2003 Honda Accord
By CrazieAccord - July 29 - 9:36 amSo far my Accord has held up wonderfully. I love the fact that I can fit two adults in the back and they arent cramped. Fuel mileage is a big plus, I usually average 26 mpg with a mix of city and highway driving (mostly highway). The only issue I have is the rear window needs a wiper, water seems to just sit on the back window and makes it kind of annoying to look out of. I would (and do) recommend the 7th generation (03+) accord to anyone.

My 09 Honda Accord is a Pain in my Neck - 2009 Honda Accord
By Stacey Parker - July 28 - 7:20 pmIn an effort to simplify my life, I traded in my Lexus SUV for a 2009 Honda Accord EXL. Take that Chevron and Mobil! I loved the look and feel of the car. The woodgrain interior and upgraded stereo were luxurious options. It was a good fit for me. And, I was feeling pretty good about my decision - the first 39 minutes of my drive home. ThatÂ’s when I noticed the tinge of pain surging from my neck down through my back. I was in excruciating pain!!! I looked back quickly and realized that the Active Headrestraints would be the bane of my existence. A good idea gone wrong.
