Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

First Impressions - 2008 Honda Accord
By Pete Vauter - August 11 - 5:40 amJust picked up my new Honda LX-P last week. Very nice so far. Extremely roomy, front and rear. Rides very well. Fairly solid build, not quite as solid as Passat I traded. Too early to tell on gas, but advertised good mileage. Very pleased so far. Good if looking for a roomy car. I am 62" and have no problem sitting in back with front seat all the way back

First Honda - 1998 Honda Accord
By Hobie - August 8 - 9:49 pmBest car ever owned. Powerful 4 cylinder, fast, fuel economy always 30-31 on highway at 75-80 mph. Nothing went out until 215,000 miles-- transaxle failed.

Great Sedan - 2007 Honda Accord
By Chas4519 - August 8 - 5:36 pmAfter a dealer buy back of my 2005 Dodge Magnum Hemi I was looking forward to getting the Accord. It was a come down from 340 HP to 244 but well worth the trade. Great materials and built quality. Classy interior, good acceleration for a V6, not as good as the 07 Camry but the styling is cleaner and built quality better. I was concerned about the many recent Toyota recalls. Also to get comparable equipment the Camry would have been thousands more. I cant wait for the redo in 2008. Hope the styling will be a little more radical, with keyless remote, push button start and a few more horsepower.

2004 Honda Accord - 2004 Honda Accord
By Marsh - August 7 - 6:10 amThe Accord is not only reliable but a competent, well equipped car for everyday commuting and travel and for the occasional sporty run. Handling could be better on aggressive manuevers but still is surprisingly adequate.

Been an OK car - 2004 Honda Accord
By Vincinator44 - August 6 - 9:03 amI purchased this for a commuter car. I wanted reliable transportation and a fuel efficient vehicle. It has never left me on the side of the road, but has had some issues. I did all the Honda recommended maintenance and during my 60000 check up, it was determined that the transmission needed replacing. Not good, if anything this part should never fail. I had other mechanical issues after the new xmission, Ill call it mechanic induced faults. I wasnt happy with the service dept. responsiveness. The front rotors have been turned down 3 times due to warpage. My gas mileage average is 27mpg, not much better(+2) then my V6 Bonneville I traded in. Battery died after 4 yrs, Im OK with this.

Great Pick! - 2007 Honda Accord
By king - August 3 - 9:46 pmWe shopped around for different sedans and it came down to the honda accord and toyota camry. In the end, we liked the feel of driving the accord. The driving was more responsive than the camry. We got the honda accord fully loaded V6, its very nice... drives great so far!! Im a first time honda owner, and loving it!!
