  Great for 8 years - 1999 Honda Accord

  I bought this car used with 15000 miles on it (basically new) - I have to say this was the best car purchase I made to this point - possibly because I had owned some lemons previously. Low maintenance, great highway performance. The V-tech engine is such a great feature - until the v-tech engine started having problems - and only a dealership could fix them. Started having tranny problems after the 8th year. I had it rebuilt and still had problems. Honda wanted between $3 & 4K to fix it - at the time it was only worth that much. Friend of mine is having tranny probs on her 2003 Accord so I am a little leery of them now. Am trading it for a Mazda 3 - well see how that goes.

  Burns 5-6 quarts ever 3,000 miles - 2008 Honda Accord

  Ive owned this car for a year now and its burns 5-6 quarts of oil every oil change which is every 3,000 miles for me. I think thats a lot of oil for every oil change. Ive called a several Honda dealerships about my concern but since Im out of the warranty extension by 400 miles and by 3 months Im not elegible for the repair with the piston the rings. Now Im stuck so with a great car that burns a lot of oil and will end up paying more money to fix or replace the engine then what the car is worth. I definitely dont recommend the 4 cylinder 2008 Honda Accord unless your willing to carry at least 2 quarts of oil in your vehicle like I do. Until Im decided on what to do with this vehicle thats my review

  Well balanced car all around. The Interior design is astonishing, exterior design is sharp and sleek. Great get up and go power for a four cylinder. Rides smooth and quiet on the highway.

  Very Disappointed with Honda - 2008 Honda Accord

  My Accord has more road noise than I expected. The engine is an oil hog. Uses 1 QT every 1800 miles and has since the very beginning. Honda will do nothing about it as they claim 1QT every 1000 miles is ok. Ive never had any other car do this. As far as Im concerned, I would not buy a Honda again nor would I recommend to anyone else!

  Perfect family sedan - 2008 Honda Accord

  My wife and I are very pleased with this car. Honda really hit the mark. Good looking inside and out, comfortable and roomy, commendable performance, and excellent gas mileage. Oh, and a good stock stereo. What more could you ask for in a family sedan? Weve owned numerous fine cars, right up to a Mercedes E55. But at this point in our life, with a new grandchild and needing room and practicality, this car fills the bill.

  After owning 1 month and 1,000 miles on my 04 Accord V6 Sedan all I can say is this one is definitely "A KEEPER". I mean its a no brainer Its no wonder its been rated Motor Trends one of the "10 BEST CAR OF THE YEAR" and consumer rates it the #1 HIGHEST RATING in crash test performance with the side curtain airbag standard on all EX V6.

  I cant believe I bought an import... - 2004 Honda Accord

  The EX adds enough features to make it worth the price premium over the LX. 5- speed is a joy to use, although the i- VTEC peaks at 5,500rpm. Interior is, far and away, the best in class. Teenagers like the look; adults think it is a sports car. Also enjoyable is the 30mpg in the city and 37 on the highway (EPA says 26/34). The resale is also predicted to be well above average for this segment.

  If you still think that a fun-to-drive car and a family sedan never go together, think again. Go to your Honda dealer, test drive this V6 accord, use the S on the gear shift, and enjoy !!!! Build is tight, looks are great inside and outside, the technology is a little confusing, but great once you figure it out, and overall, is a great car, Simply put, you CAN NOT go wrong with this car, it drives great, it looks great, and as soon as you drive it, you know you will have a long lasting car.

  Big Mistake - 2009 Honda Accord

  I fell in love with the new design. It looks great and drives well. I purchased the 4-door EX-L model in a manual transmission. I did a large amount of research before purchasing this car and found that it was really the best car for the price. All of this to say, I am extremely disappointed in my vehicle purchase. Apparently I should have done some more research. The squealing brakes after less than 5000 kms are completely unacceptable. I would never recommend purchasing the 08/09 models to anyone. Honda has disappointed so many people by creating, marketing and selling such a product. Do not buy this vehicle until Honda decides to issue a recall & fix this problem.
