Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • 05 Accord Hybrid 30 MPG actual - 2005 Honda Accord

At 3000 miles the mileage is increasing as it gets broken in. Currently is at 30 MPG. Mileage judged by electronics in car and by miles ./. gallons used. Excellent quality. Only downside is rear seats dont fold and slight loss of trunkroom due to Hybrid Battery location. Roomy interior, 255 Horsepower, 30 MPG. The ideal car for me

  • A Nice Car to Own - 2009 Honda Accord
    By -

I purchased this car because the transmission on my Intrepid died. I must say I am impressed. Overall, this is easily the most intelligently designed car Ive ever owned. It irritated me that Detroit couldnt bother to put as much effort into their designs as Honda does. Took a while to get used to the transmission rhythm (went from 3 to 5 speeds). Fuel economy can be an issue. On the highway, I got a nice 30+ MPG, but in the city, barely 20. I have the lowest end model, and I am impressed with the amount of extras it came with, as well as the performance of the engine. Very peppy for a 4 cyl. All in all, I am very satisfied with this car.

  • I Love This Car! - 2006 Honda Accord
    By -

I just purchased my Honda Accord Ex, and it was love at first test drive. I recently had a Nissan Altima, and this is so much more comfortable. The ride is so smooth, and its hard to believe that a 4 cyl engine is under the hood. It is so responsive. I really love the dashboard layout, as all the instruments are so convenient. The controls on the wheel are really nice. This is a lot of car for the dollar. It is the best deal out there. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a quality car, at an affordable price.

  • Poor Materials and Build Quality - 2004 Honda Accord
    By -

Got 800 miles on it. Been to dealer to correct issues. Interior headliner improperly fit and of inferior material; rattles and squeaks in dashboard corrected at least temporarily. Odd noise in steering on return to center (sounds like a plastic tube is untwisting) yet to be corrected. Build quality far below my previous 5 Hondas, particularly on the interior. Strange exhaust noise that dealer says is not a leak; sure sounds like a leak. Several paint flaws in front bumper -- paint budbble became pock marks. Dealer is being helpful as possible, but problems remain. Not like the Honda quality from days of old.

  • An awesome vehicle - 2004 Honda Accord

Traded in a 2001 Accord EX 4cyl for the 04 EX V6, and can only say that the new Accord is awesome. Ride is a bit stiffer and more sports like. Leather interior is great and XM satelite radio is an excellent system and a good alternative to CDs. Am 64" and there is ample leg room and seats are very supportive. Best feature is the 240 hp V6. It is very smooth, quiet and really responsive. Veh is an excellent value overall.

  • Exceptional Vehicle V6 Accord EX! - 2004 Honda Accord

This car has it all! Totally impressed. The ride, the power, the comfort! Drove the 2004 Acura TL & TSX,BMW 3 series, & the Lexus 330ES. Have owned Nissans and would not buy again. No need to spend 7-10K more to obtain the quality of the 2004 EX Accord in another vehilce unless your ego needs the snob appeal our you are trying to impress the 19 year old valet a your favorite restaurant

  • good car, good price.......cant beat - 2001 Honda Accord

I have a V6 accord, and for the price, you cant really beat the reliability, comfort and ergonomics. It is pretty spacious for its size too.

  • I am a very satisfied Honda owner - 2002 Honda Accord

It was my dream to by a reliable car, although I never thought I could afford a Honda. Well, I had the opportunity to buy my Honda four years ago when it had 25000 miles on it. Now it has 75000 miles on it, and I still have not had any problems. It runs like a top. My goal is to reach 300,000 miles, and it seems very likely that that will happen. I have been very careful to maintain it. Although some Accords have had transmission problems, I hope with mine it will never happen. It seems that with Hondas, usually if they are maintained, they will run for a long time.

  • Solid car - 2007 Honda Accord
    By -

I bought new in June 2007. Great gas mileage, 26-32mpg it depends on speed, etc. I dont like that the headlights are not automatic. This is the first car that Ive owned in the last ten years that did not have auto headlights. The seats are not comfortable after a while. I have taken this car on a few road trips and my body hurts after a couple of hours. Its great for my 30 mile work commute though. I had to replace the brakes at 50k miles. I had a blowout on one of the rear tires at about 40k. I expect both of these things to happen on a car of this caliber. Its not a luxury car but is dependable and does what I need.
