Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Got my car 2-22-03 from Rusty Wallis Honda. Anthony Smith is absolutly one of the nicest salesman Ive ever met. (If there is such a thing)... Got a GREAT DEAL on my car. Absolutely love everything about the new accord. I wouldnt change a thing. Fun to drive very cozy and rich feel.

  • Very reliable, still plain vanilla - 2003 Honda Accord

A dependable car with lots of interior space, but very boring on those back country roads (although a nice highway and city cruiser).

As a BMW-driving enthusiast, I was initially skeptical that I would ever in my life enjoy driving another vehicle other than the loaded 2000 BMW 528i w/ Sport Package Ive owned for the past 3 years. However, Ive been pleasantly surprised by how much I now enjoy driving my Accord EX V-6. While far from having the performance, handling, torque and curb appeal of the Bimmer, I find the Accords roomy leather interior much more attractive and comfortable. What the Accord lacks in body style sexiness, it more than makes up for in terms of value.

This is my retirement car. Had a VW and was looking at another. Had issues with repairs and too many people were talking about reliability issues for the new ones also. Moving into a fixed income decided on a Honda. Many people told me of stories where all they spent was on gas, tires and oil. Soon to be on a fixed income just what we needed. It is great to drive, has many nice features and gets you there with great mileage.

  • Great car! - 1995 Honda Accord

I bought the car new in 1995 and have been driving it ever since. Over 270,000 miles and have done only basic maintenance with the exception of the radiator being replaced two years ago. Still runs beautifully still getting over 30 miles per gallon. Intend to keep the car many more years - havent had a car payment since the 90s. Garage kept so exterior still looks great.

  • Road Noise!!! - 2007 Honda Accord

I purchased this car because I travel for work. What a mistake! The seats are very uncomfortable on long commutes and there is constant road and wind noise!!! I would not recommend this car for anyone who travels for a living. The ride is too stiff also. I guess this is how Honda makes a separation with Acura. I cannot wait to get another car. This time I will do extensive research before I purchase based on reliability only.

  • 130K and still running strong! - 2000 Honda Accord

I have a 2000 EX sedan which I purchased new in 2000. I change the oil every 3K miles, installed my first set of brakes (front and rear) at 105K miles, the dealer said that I still had at least 10K miles left on them. Replaced my battery last year. It didnt fail, but it was getting weak. Replaced timing belt and all other belts. Brake fluid, clutch fluid, transmission oil and anti-freeze is changed every 3 years. I get 33 mpg driving 70MPH on the highway. Never had a problem with the car and expect to be driving it for at least another 10 years.

  • Awesome Car!! - 2004 Honda Accord

A quick note about this car, we traded it to my wifes mom, it has a power drivers seat and gives her enough of a boost to see over the steering wheel. I must say that this car is the only car that I have ever driven that the acceleration actually scared me. We have an 07 accord V6 that is supposed to be identical, the 04 will eat it for lunch. This car is one of the smartest purchases I have ever made. It is ironic that this "little old lady" has this sleeper.

  • 05 Honda accord - 2005 Honda Accord

I had purchased the 05 Accord Lx because my 96 civic EX was a great car. The car overall is great, but the manufacturer could have made the radio reception better and had a better quality control. For example, the inner roof top needs to be glued and the dash was not seated right. Minor to its overall perfomance and looks. Dealership did not emphasize how the car does not need an oil change until 10,000 miles per normal wear. Instead, they gimmick deals on maintenance for every 3700 and other unnecessary maintenance. As mentioned earlier, I had a car in great shape for over 120,000 with proper maintance.

  • I like my Accord - 2008 Honda Accord

Nice, quiet ride with lots of zip. Love the dark red color. No problems yet after 700 miles. This is my 4th Honda Accord and it is the best of the bunch. Styling is great, love the extra room.
