Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Good value for the money - 2005 Honda Accord
By Drema - September 18 - 11:10 pmThis is my third Honda and they are still excellent cars. I test drove a Camry and found it comparable, but the cost of options that are standard on the Honda made the Camry too expensive. The back seat leg room is best of any car I looked at, and I think the trunk is very roomy.I love this car and feel very good about the price I paid. However, I am finding that bucket seats are not for the elderly or those with arthritis.

Poor mans BMW - 2006 Honda Accord
By Mindy - September 18 - 10:08 pmDont believe the estimated mpg. I consistently get 26mpg city/hwy & 31 hwy. This V6 is fast, comfortable & fun to drive. It doesnt handle quite as well in the corners as my previous car, 1995 BMW 525i, but would blow the doors off it. You do notice road noise at hwy speeds & the ride is a little stiff, feeling the bumps in the road, but that could be the original tires. It handles well in snow even with original tires. The interior & dash are well designed to keep controls simple and easy to reach. Im a 62" male & have plenty of leg & head room.

Update from previous review (100K) - 2001 Honda Accord
By Sofyan Bey - September 18 - 8:52 pmI am the third owner, I purchased this car from my sister in June 2009, she bought the car from the original owner in July 2007 with 66K on it for $10,300 when I bought the car from her in June of 2009 it had 95K on it. I bought it from her for $6,300 after she put on 30K in 2 years. The car is great, it just hit 100,015 today and runs like a new car. I did some maintenance over the summer, I replaced the front rotors and did the timing belt and water pump and had the rear rotors resurfaced and new pads put on. Today I just did the spark plugs bc they are original. I used to drive a 96 Camry and this car is so much nicer to drive and the V6 is smooth and powerful. Gas mileage is at 24 mpg.

Rear break noise since the first day - 2008 Honda Accord
By Bin - September 18 - 6:43 pmHad the noise from rear brake since the first day I had it. Around 5000 miles, I visited my dealer and asked them to check it. My dealers feedback was that it was normal and my dealer had done nothing about it. Around 22000 miles, big noise from rear brake, and when I was on the road, I got a lot of attention from other drivers. This is my fourth new Honda, after Accord 2001, CRV 2004 and Odyssey 2007, and my 2001 accord also had a lot of problems on transmission. Anyway, for my next car, I wont consider Honda anymore.

Excellent Family Sedan - 2008 Honda Accord
By williamf - September 18 - 7:20 amPurchased this vehicle 3 days after it was introduced. Was able to purchase appox $1000 below sticker, even though other dealers in Houston quoted $2K to $3K over sticker. The exterior of the car is a real head turner. The interior is a step up from the previous Accord. It is not lacking in anything, but it is also not extraordinary. It is what it is, a family sedan. I choose this car over a Camry, Aura, and Civic because it has the best combination of reputation, performance, price, and initial quality

The best one Ive owned - 2008 Honda Accord
By Andrew.M.Tillcock - September 16 - 3:13 amHaving spent the day comparing fuel efficent cars again I though it might be time to re visit my local Honda store. Gas as we all know is about to hit $4 a gallon by summer so in I went for my quest for the eigth generation Accord. I purchased the EX-l 4 cylinder without/nav( cannot see paying nearly $3000 more just for directions.. so for my evaluation this being my third Accord and by a land slide the best(the others 89",07). First off the new body style is very appealing and the new seats are more forgiving for larger men. Acceleration A+, fit and finish are up to quality with cars thousands more. XM radio and premium sound are top notch. Ride quality and handling are spot on! Honda# 1

Best car ever owned - 2008 Honda Accord
By rickmoitoza - September 15 - 11:56 amI just got back from a 3000 mile road trip from California to Sandpoint Idaho. The Honda was very comfortable to drive and averaged 32.5 miles per gallon. I have the v6 - manual sticker said 25 hwy, 22 in town... I get 27 in town. This car is the best I have ever owned.

Great Car - 2000 Honda Accord
By Hondaacord - September 15 - 2:00 amThis car has all a driver entusiast could want, with its peppy V6, semi what styling on the outside and reliability expected out of a Honda. The factory tires were poor but other than that its just a fun car to drive.

smooth... - 2003 Honda Accord
By citiboy76 - September 15 - 2:00 amThis car was all I was dreaming of, especially at the low price it was negotiated at. Very reasonable pricing for a quality vehicle such as this one. The LX V-6 is one powerful engine.
