Overview & Reviews
As the model was fully redesigned for the 2003 model year, there are only a few changes on the 2004 Honda Accord. Availability of side curtain airbags has been expanded this year to four-cylinder EX models -- standard on those with leather, optional on cars with a cloth interior. All four- and six-cylinder EX models equipped with a leather interior now have XM Satellite Radio with three months of free service as standard equipment. And as with all Honda cars this year, a new seatbelt reminder system is standard. Accord models meeting California's stringent Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle (PZEV) standards -- all four-cylinder sedans equipped with automatic transmission -- will also be sold in the states of New York, Maine, Vermont and Massachusetts.
- Tight build quality, quiet cabin, refined and powerful engines, reputation for quality and durability, high crash test scores.

A Sheep in Wolfs Clothing..... - 2004 Honda Accord
By Unhappyowner - April 23 - 10:00 amHonda told me the drastic hesitation experienced after negotiating a turn at an intersection and applying the accelerator normally is just the way the car is engineered, for economy, not all around performance. Dont be fooled by the cars looks! That consistant hesitation ruins the entire experience. From a dead stop there is no problem but if you are coasting or breaking and transition to acceleration you WILL feel the hesitation! Check the trim where the doors meet the windows on the coupe. Look for wrinkles in the glossy film covering the trim piece.

More trims wanted - 2004 Honda Accord
By alphan - April 17 - 2:00 amEXV6 should come in cloth seats as well. Couldnt care a bit for XM but want the alloys, sunroof, V6, power seats. Road, wind, etc noise sources eliminated. Tight built is nice. A bit disoriented in city traffic not hearing other cars! Handling could be better, but is OK for 98% driving conds. Good job on gas mileage on a V6.

Luxury Car without Luxury Price - 2004 Honda Accord
By twnygard - April 17 - 2:00 amTraded in our 2001 V6 Accord Coupe for the 2004 V6 Accord Sedan. Loved both cars, but the 2004 feels like a luxury car without the big $ price. Test drove the Acura TL but couldnt justify the extra 8K for 30 HP, heated mirrors and 200 watt sound system. Recently drove in heavy snow in northern Michigan and it handled like a dream. Could not be happier. Navigation upgrade in 2004 was tremendous. Currenly own a 2003 Pilot, and the Navigation upgrade with Voice and larger screen are great. XM radio a great feature, plan on buying it after my 3 month free preview.

Off to a rough start - 2004 Honda Accord
By CJHESQ - April 5 - 10:00 amWhile salesman was showing the car, the battery died. Had to jump the car in the showroom! Also, the alignment was off. I love everything else about the car. Interior is slick and the XM built in is a bonus. Hopefully the car will overcome the early problems and be a typical Honda My wife, father, and sister all have had multiple Accords, and swear by them.

Accord Rules - 2004 Honda Accord
By sertra - April 5 - 10:00 amThis car is really amazing. The feel ,the look and the drive of the Accord is unbeleivable. It is smooth and sleek. The interior is plush with no cheap looking gadgets. Everything looks classy and detail oriented in this car. I test drove the camry, altima and Sonata before I was totally sold on the Accord. Great value for money, plus the peace of mind for knowing its a Honda ! Would recommend to freinds and family.

Best Car - 2004 Honda Accord
By LucyFocus - March 31 - 10:00 amBest car I have owned yet. The brandy new styling is classy and adds that extra sporty touch to the already fun to drive car. The curvey sides are very nice, and the interior is rommier than the Passat and Camry- I compared these three cars, and about an Accord...I am still glad I did!

Beyond Expectations! - 2004 Honda Accord
By David Viken - March 31 - 10:00 amThe first read about this auto in the NY Times in 2002. I was quite certain I would purchase when the model became available. After what seemed like an endless wait I had my terrific coupe. This is the first auto I have owned that gives a great driving experience each time I leave home. The excitement of the car remains. Furthermore, the safety, acceleration and comfort provided never dims. I do take good care of this auto. It takes great care of me. Finally, the excellent service and care offered by the dealer is of a quality I have never experienced before. Should the model remain, I will certainly purchase another. David Viken, Iowa City

By sjkanes - March 31 - 10:00 amWe puchased this car a as a second family car for running errands in the city, and around town. It is a comfortable, smooth running, reliable, with more than enough pep to make it fun to drive. I think it is a great overall package.
