Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Love the 2003 Accord! - 2003 Honda Accord

I was excited about purchasing my new Accord. My daughter has a 12 year old Honda Civic that has been fantastic! I test drove the Accord and Camry and knew I couldnt go wrong with either, but the Accord was so much fun to drive! I am looking forward to years of reliability and enjoying my Accord.

  • Great car compared to Camry - 2008 Honda Accord

I had 2 Toyota Camrys and changing to the Accord, its a great positive change. First better handling. Suspension is harder and the stability control made the car very fun to drive. Assisted brake is better than the Camry. More room. 2 big suitcases + 3 small ones when taking family from airport (we were 5). I cant even believe it can fit them all. Concerning some issues: road noise. Im quite sensitive to noise and of course the noise canceling system is helping. Good point: it happens only time to time. The seat is slightly hard. I have to pull on the head rest and then its ok. The 190 hp is there when needed. No regret compare to the Camry LE. MPG: 29 mpg mixed for the last 6000 miles!

  • Avoid like the plague ! - 2002 Honda Accord

Ive owned this car since 2005. I made a quick decision to buy it without doing research. BAD MOVE ! Take 5 mins to look up official recall \ complaints. Anyone who gives this car a good review has limited knowledge and/or experience with cars. The automatic transmission might go down in history for being one of the WORST ever made. Ever notice accords with faded paint ? Thats another inherent problem. Some received a cheaper paint and clear coat resulting in the discoloration. If I had taken even 2 mins to research this car I would not have bought it. Its sitting in my garage broken. $2000 to fix transmissin. Not doing it. Rebuilt and refurbished transmissions have same problem

  • Nav EX 4 Cyl Accord - 2005 Honda Accord

Have gotten up to 42.7 miles per gallon when I was on a trip and not in a hurry. It handles well. Navigation System is outstanding. Leather holding up well to normal use. Wish they would reinstate U.S. availability of a matching telephone connection for hands free operation through the speakers and microphone that are in the car. Literature shows that this used to be available for Motorola and several other phone brands, but Honda of America has taken this feature away from the U.S. buyer. I understand it can still be had in Japan though. Otherwise, I love this car and will buy another for my wife, who also finds the ride and handling to be just what she likes.

  • My first and last honda - 2008 Honda Accord

This was my first Honda purchase and it will be my last due to the poor performance of the V-6 variable cylinder management engine. When I bought the car the salesman and the brochure indicates that the VCM will work unnoticed. However after driving the car for awhile now that is not true at all. I complained to the dealer and the service manager indicated that they have had a lot of complaints about that engine. He put me in touch with the Honda Regional representative and he told me the same thing. He also told me that the V-6 engine has been "disappointing". However, Honda wont do anything about it, Im stuck with it. I will be getting rid of this car this spring.

  • Great car for the money - 2006 Honda Accord

I bought it two weeks ago and am very pleased. 29.4 MPG in second fillup on city/country roads (no highways!). I looked at others but decided on the Accord due to fuel economy and roomy interior. I was willing to spend a few thousand more if I could get more value but couldnt justify it based on what I was getting with the Accord. I went out with my wife and another couple last night and they couldnt believe the comfort and room in the back. On the downside, I wish they would have a thermometer that it easy to access. Other annoying omissions include no mute button on the radio, no fuel economy guage and no compass!
