Overview & Reviews
As the model was fully redesigned for the 2003 model year, there are only a few changes on the 2004 Honda Accord. Availability of side curtain airbags has been expanded this year to four-cylinder EX models -- standard on those with leather, optional on cars with a cloth interior. All four- and six-cylinder EX models equipped with a leather interior now have XM Satellite Radio with three months of free service as standard equipment. And as with all Honda cars this year, a new seatbelt reminder system is standard. Accord models meeting California's stringent Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle (PZEV) standards -- all four-cylinder sedans equipped with automatic transmission -- will also be sold in the states of New York, Maine, Vermont and Massachusetts.
- Tight build quality, quiet cabin, refined and powerful engines, reputation for quality and durability, high crash test scores.

An economic luxury car - 2004 Honda Accord
By etc - May 24 - 10:00 amI simply like the "feel of the car",i.e. driving with confidence in a fine machine. I have not had one problem since purchasing new. Just enjoy the reliability, power, fine looks and comfort! I had my doubts that I would be satisfied since driving Mercedes and B.M.W. for years, but I was pleasantly surprised (especially in the snow).

exciting honda - 2004 Honda Accord
By jennred007 - May 24 - 10:00 amThe steering of the Honda Accord is tight and the body roll is subtle. The v6 gives it the kick you need when you need it and the 5spd transmission is smooth. It has a multy wishbone suspention that keeps the wheels on the ground, and the interior of the vehical relaxing. Most of all is the feeling you get knowing you and your family are safer than most anyone else on the road. Overall feeling: Smart choice.

nice ride - 2004 Honda Accord
By Disaster - May 18 - 10:00 amPicked it up at the dealer and set out on a 1200 mile trip. Worst mileage I logged was 31 mpg combination highway and intown driving in Chicago and the best was 37 mpg, all highway, and this was at 75 plus miles and hour. Very comfortable for long stretches, the drivers seat was infinitly adjustable. My one and only suggestion would be to make the 12 volt outlet stay on when the veh. is turned off.

Not a bad car - 2004 Honda Accord
By Rick - May 17 - 3:06 pmHave had the car year-and-a-half. Has 30K Miles and not a single problem. Gets great gas mileage (34 on interstate and 26 in town). However, the tires spin pretty easy, especially if its wet out. Not sure if its the Michelins or bad weight splits on the car. Also, the brakes grab really hard every now-and-then. When I turn on the A.C. will hear a "clunk" when the compressor kicks in. Also, the A.C. pulls hard on the engine. Have to wind the engine out more between shifts to keep it from getting herky-jerky. Also, trunk has no detent, so when you open it and the wind is blowing, itll fall down on your head (ouch!) Also, when turn HVAC temp dial, hear a wierd groaning noise.

the rattler - 2004 Honda Accord
By Tony - April 28 - 1:23 pmGreat car. Super performance. Various car magazines clock it very very close (in acceleration, 0-60 and 1/4) to a 350z. Fantastic interior, very comfortable and well laid out. Great except that several trips to the dealer have failed to stop a horrendous (loud) rattle coming from the dashboard. Unacceptable for a 29000 car, or a 15000 car. Ruins the whole experience. Seems like junk when a loud rattle destroys an otherwise great ride.
