This Year's Model Updates:

The Honda Accord -- one of America's favorite vehicles -- has been substantially changed for 2003. Continuing as a sedan and a coupe, the 2003 Honda Accord features more powerful and fuel-efficient engines, increased safety and higher levels of interior comfort. A voice-activated GPS navigation system is optional, and a sporty EX coupe debuts in early 2003.

Pros:
  • Tight build quality, quiet cabin, refined powertrains, comfortable driver seat, outstanding optional navigation system.
Cons:
  • Missing key features, relatively small trunk, mushy handling with V6.

  • could be better - 2003 Honda Accord

Bought the Accord thinking it would be a carefree experience compared to VW. Not the case. Car has needed front and rear brakes 3 times in less than 14k miles, getting ready to get brand new rotors and pads again. Transmission recall. Passenger airbag cover broken. Front left fender pops (a lot of them do on the car dealer lots). Rattles and squeeks. Not at all what I counted on.

  • Best in class, by far - 2003 Honda Accord

My favorite car. Exterior and interior design, styling, material quality, all impecable. Fun to drive, reliable, economical. When this gets old Im definitely buying another one.

I have had my Accord, 4 cyl. automatic for 6 weeks now. This is my first Honda. Did a lot of research on Honda and Toyota. Both ride well and have good reputation but styling sold me on the Accord. After I got the car I was just blown away by the quiet, smooth ride and solid construction. Gas mileage has been fantastic-over 30 on the highways. Plenty of pick up and passing power for me. Got the silver Acord and when clean on a sunny day I get lots of approving looks. Couldnt be happier.

  • Value + Refinement = GOOD CHOICE! - 2003 Honda Accord

The 2003 Accord LX is much improved over the older models. The constant din of road noise has been significantly reduced, the 5 speed automatic makes the standard 4 cylinder responsive and quick- enhancing overall performance. Im glad I didnt pay an extra 3 grand for the V6! Workmanship and fit are very good, and choosing a Japanese assembled unit over its Ohio or Mexican counterpart helped. I compared all three!

  • Better than everything else - 2003 Honda Accord

Even though Consumer Reports rated the Passat slightly higher than the Accord, the latter is by far the best family sedan on the market.

  • Awsome - 2003 Honda Accord

I am 21 and this is my 16th car. This is by far the best. It looks great, handles great, and the brakes are awsome. I couldnt have asked for more for the price!

  • A Quantum Leap - 2003 Honda Accord

2003 Accord EX V6 Fit and finish is exceptional reminding me of the fine European cars. The new exterior design borrows from German design trends and looks great. The interior is well done and the controls have that tight German feel to them. 240 horsepower is really fun. The car is an absolute dream to drive. Thank you Honda.

  • nice seats - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

This car has the best seats in the class. The ride is a little too firm compared to the camry. If they could put the accord seats into the camry then you would have the perfect car, imho. It has its share of rattles. Its performance is excellent. could use lighted controls on the wheel and the paint is very thin. Think that I will be switching back to the camry shortly. The seats are all that is holding me back. Overall a nice car for the younger crowd. Middle age may want more refinements.

  • I Love My Honda! - 2003 Honda Accord

Let me start by saying that I am unabashedly a Honda fan. This is my second Accord and Im almost positive it wont be my last. The new Accord has a smoother ride and much better acceleration. Really I think to purchase the V6 would be a waste of money. Front and back seats seem roomier. The controls in this model seem much more intuitive and easier to use while driving. I love being able to control the radio from the stirring wheel. The wood grain accents, which come with the ex model, give the interior a more polished look. I honestly cant imagine owning a better car for the money.

  • Its a super safe car~ - 2003 Honda Accord

My parent bought me this first car as my 19th birthday. Unfortunely I had a big collison on the freeway with one passenger with me. The car was total, all airbags pop out, the amazing new is both of us are safe, only had some minor seatbelt burns. I love the car when i first bought it, after the crash, i love it more because it can truely protect me and my friends from any accidents. I am planing to buy back one next week. The 4cylinder is fast enough for me, so i am not thinking of upgrading it, therefore, i put the money into the interior, i am planing to get the exact same one with the navigation!! (((i miss my car)))
