Honda takes a bold leap for 2005 with the introduction of the Hybrid Accord. Rather than add a hybrid motor to its four-cylinder, Honda bolts its third-generation IMA system to the Accord's already-potent V6. In one fell swoop the Accord hybrid has become the class leader in fuel economy (30 city, 38 highway) and power (255 horsepower). Other changes for the 2005 Honda Accord this year include new wheel cover designs for the LX and EX trims, a new coin pocket design, illuminated steering wheel controls and improved rear styling in sedans with redesigned taillamps. In addition, front-seat side airbags and full-length head curtain airbags are now available on all trim levels all the way down to the base DX model.

  The Honda Accord is really as good as a car can get. The car looks good, good mecanic, easy to drive both in city driving and on highway. The Honda Accord 2005 is very much a good car to own. Ill recommand it. Normand Province de Québec Canada

  Third Accord - 2005 Honda Accord

  This is my third Honda Accord. I traded in a 2003 Mustang GT for this fully loaded Accord Coupe and couldnt be happier. The car is fun to drive and the ride is excellent. I upgraded to the Honda 17" Wheels and the car looks awesome!! I would recommend this car to anyone. A great ride!!

  Ive had 3 trouble-free years with my Accord. Two accidents left me fine, and the car (repaired) is back in perfect condition. I average 32 mpg with mostly freeway driving. Beside the typical maintenance, Ive had to do nothing to it. Its roomy with high quality interior materials. In short, I love it. Its not a highly exciting car, but I knew that before I purchased it. I will continue to purchase Hondas.

  Ive had this car for 2 years now and put 60,000 miles on it commuting to work. Im averaging 32-35mpg, at 75mph. yes, there are other hybrids which will give a lot better gas mileage, and I have test driven a lot of them, but they are gutless in power and do not handle well in turns. This car has the best of both worlds and the quality is better than the others also. The Toyota Prius may be the best out there for saving on gas, but the inside of that car is cheesy and they offer no leather. Im glad I bought this Honda Accord hybrid. I will sacrifice some mileage for the power, comfort, and quality. Wish Honda would continue to make them. 2006 was the last year.

  I have owned Volvos all my life(37 yrs.) and I am extremely impressed with this cars safety record; a large reason why it won out over the Camry and any American sedan. The 4cyl. is plenty peppy enough and the interior design is very ergonomically friendly. The 6 speaker stereo was a pleasant suprise. Overall this car drives beautifully in any environment with plenty of power especially when stepping out to pass at 65-80mphs. It is so quiet that I actually was doing 90 and didnt realize it until I looked down at the speedometer! Whoops. Jury still out at only 200 miles on the car.

  I have never owned a quieter car, and I have had 15 of them in the last 25 years. It has plenty of power, gets 28 mpg in rush hour traffic, has room for my family, which includes two men over 63", and all the features I could ever want. It was the best $22,000 we could have spent.

  This is a very comfortable good running car. I also own a 2007 Honda Accord V6 and this 4 cyl Accord performs equally as well. Its hard to tell them apart.

  This car is a joy to drive. I have enjoyed the fact that it is quieter than previous Accords and gives a smoother ride. It has great pick-up and cruises extremely well on the open road.This has gotten excellent gas mileage. I get about 25 to 27 on all around driving and 31 to 34 on open road driving. The Navigation system has been helpful at times. However, it would be nice if it could yield routes other than the interstate. Seats are very comfortable- love the seat warmers. This car has been a pure pleasure to own and drive!

  The 4cyl engine is more than capable of handling your everyday needs. Hondas attention to detail is evident throughout the cabin right down to the small courtesy light (located near the driver side reading light) that gently lights up the center console during the night. Build quality is solid

  I loved the thing first time i saw it.Great design. Exterior and interior complete each other. Engine and transmission work very vell together. great performance. gives you the feeling that you can run with a ferrari. this car made me realize how borind mustang interior and performance is, or big buck bmw or problem child 350 z. Please dont even compare this vehicle with and american made coupe vehicles (Crossfire etc.)Of course $ 65,000 bmw m 3 is good looking and powerfull, you know what i dont care too much money. this car gives you 240 horse v 6 beautiful sound 8 airbags all around, heated seats, abs, esc, tcs, xm radio is a blast and many others buy it wont regret it feel what i feel TY
