Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Getting too Big to Handle - 2008 Honda Accord
By Ed K - December 27 - 8:50 amI waited few months to write this review due to that I thought I will give it enough time to get used to its size. I owe a 1993 Accord that I love to drive, the 2008 is not a fun car to drive. The Gas mileage is good, the acceleration sometime is slow when cold from 1st to 2nd gear. Seats are little on the hard side.

2008 EX Coupe Auto - 2008 Honda Accord
By Mr Black - December 27 - 7:23 amHad to buy a new car...did my research and Accord kept coming back as one of the top performers in overall quality. Very happy with the car. I4 offers responsive acceleration - its not a drag car car so have realistic expectations - buy a V6 if you really need that feeling. Interior is very comfortable w/ ergonomic design in mind. are there a lot of buttons? Yes, could they have made it simpler? Yes. but realistically is it hard to figure out? No. new coupe styling is outstanding. Must see in person to really appreciate. pictures dont do it justice. Radio isnt to bad just make sure you set the EQ to fit your music or it can get washed out. 6 cd changer is a nice treat, but the aux

Acceptable...Not Incredible - 2012 Honda Accord
By Chuck M. - December 26 - 10:48 amThe 4 cylinder engine in the is EX rated at 190hp instead of 177 in lower trims. The car has nice acceleration and a strong transmission. Bigger inside than Camry and Fusion, and its great for tall drivers. Im 6 3" and I have plenty of headroom with the sunroof even when wearing a ball cap. You can have someone you dont know sitting in the passenger seat and youll both be comfortable due to lots of hip and shoulder room. I was disappointed to find out the EX trim does not come with an outside temp display in the odometer. Only EX-Ls come with that. No fuel computer either unless you have the EX-L with nav. It does have a USB and a 6-disc changer but the stereo is eh. My biggest complaint far and away is the A/C blower. Its very weak. The dealer and 2 other repair shops verified thats just how Hondas are. Bummer but Im gonna keep the car anyway since I got it 2k below book value. Happy Shopping !!

Great vehicle with few problems - 1999 Honda Accord
By Dan - December 26 - 2:39 amIve had my Accord since the fall of 1999 and it has performed admirably over the years. 178000 miles and only a starter and alternator for replacements with regular tuneups. Still gets 30 MPG and the ride quality is great for a car of its time period. Really could use ABS living in Minnesota winters, but you can do without if youre a confident driver.

Hey, its a great car - 2007 Honda Accord
By 500lbman - December 23 - 9:09 pmHonda makes good cars, and this is no exception. Is it German in its build quality? No. But for the money, it is comfortable, has lots of room inside, and drives very sporty for a big car. V-6 has good power. Leather seats are very comfortable, and the overall design remains appealing. The trunk has adequate space. Couple of minor rattles, but still very solid. Great when carrying 3 others. Some people have gotten in and said "Nice car". I bought with 31k miles, put 10k on it in 6 mos. Needs brakes now, but nothing else. I have owned 3 other Hondas, very pleased with this one. Will continue to drive Honda.

Givin some love to the new car - 2008 Honda Accord
By iwanthonda - December 22 - 5:46 amJust picked up the car a week ago, and I am loving it. Before my purchase, the comparison was between the highest trim levels of the Accord, Altima 3.5 SE, Camry SE V6, and Subaru Legacy GT. This car has excellent build quality that is unmatched by any of the competition, and along with the best Navi system of the bunch, clinched the decision for me. The V6, while not as well-rounded as the competition, is very competent and has a satisfying growl to it. As for the reality check, Im currently getting about 18.5 MPG over about 250 miles driven thus far. This is to be expected with a V6, however, as my current commute is about 2.5 miles one way to work each day.
