Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • My honda is pulling into overdrive - 2008 Honda Accord

Based on Hondas reputation, I bought this Accord. I owned it new but, in the two years of service, I have had constant brake problems (car shakes under braking and the brakes wore out early). and the other important issue is that the car pulling into overdrive. The dealership says that maybe could be a spark plug, but they changed it and the problem continuous. Other answer was maybe the computers is not working well. But I still have the problem.

  • Glad I Done It - 2010 Honda Accord

Had this car for about 5 months now. The Belize Blue exterior/beige leather interior combination still knocks me out. All the whizzbangs (moonroof, heated seats, sat radio, etc) are nice, but the curb appeal of this thing is just amazing. Glad I got rid of a 2009 xxxx and got this.

I love the Accord EX-L 2-DR coupe. Its sporty-looking but still practical enough for a middle-aged mom like me. You cant go wrong with this one!

  • So close to perfect, yet so damned far - 2009 Honda Accord
    By -

Love the styling. However, this is a BIG car, and it handles like one. Poor rear sight lines make you fearful to change lanes. Cheap touches in the interior abound (the steering wheel and gearshift would probably work in a Dodge, but are sub-par for a Honda). The one thing I HATE about this otherwise vanilla and inoffensive car is the brake squeal. My brakes sound like theyre made of steel wool. They literally grate on my nerves. What was Honda thinking?

  • best Honda yet - 2010 Honda Accord

Car handles very well with solid construction. Have had 2 other Accords but this is the best yet.

  • First car. Best car. - 1991 Honda Accord
    By -

So my 1991 Honda Accord Lx sedan is by far the best car i have driven.Bought it from some family friends with 42k on it. Its a 5 speed (which is very nice) and has power everything, which for a 91 is bulletproof. Its a great car through and through, I drive it probably harder than a should but besides the fact its pretty heavy and FWD its a blast to drive. The 2.2 liter gets up and goes even with passengers. I find this car very comfortable and Im 63" and weigh 200 lbs. All the systems work great, the AC, the power steering, the cruise control. I think ill eventually move on to an s2000 but this car is absolutely the best car for the money. Driving it hard has not given me any issues. Love it.

  • Honda Accord sedan - 2008 Honda Accord

Body design and performance great, but inside terrible. Noise, noise, noise and I drive the top model exl6. The radio is hard to listen with all the noise. I have had 8 hondas and this will probably be my last. The dash cannot be read in sunlight or cloudy days. [ the 2004 model dash was great ]. It seems they backtracked. The visors are skimpy compared to 2004. I have owned 8 accords since 1979 and this was the most disappointing one. My wife owned four. Any friends that ride in my car, hear the noise and they state. Not for them

  • Absolutel "bulletproof" - 1993 Honda Accord
    By -

I purchased my 1993 Accord LX wagon used in 1996 with 40,000 miles on the odometer. Now, 14 years later it is still running strong with 321,000 miles on it. Other than the usual rust over the rear wheel wells, my only other problem has been a leaking rear main seal, which leaks about a quart every 2500 miles. I run four snow tires on it during the winter and it has never gotten stuck. Alas, when I found out that Honda was not re-introducing the Accord wagon (they gave us the Crosstour instead), I opted to buy a CR- V as a replacement vehicle. This wagon has been absolutely bulletproof, and I hate to get rid of it. Best car I have ever owned.

  • Its Honda. Just not the Honda you knew. - 2010 Honda Accord

Driving this car is a positive tactile experience. Good throttle control, smooth drive train, tight suspension, good steering feel. It has a very rigid feeling chassis ala BMW. Thats good. However, several weeks after taking delivery, I noticed little black and orange metal particles stuck to the paint in a few places. Rail dust. Theyre tiny, you have to be looking for them. If successfully removed by dealer, then I would rate this car pretty high. 8.5 to 9 re: meeting expectations. Still take a hit on quality for allowing this in the first place, no free ride.

  • Another evolutionary Accord - 2010 Honda Accord
    By -

My wife has now owned 5 Accords, puts about 100K on in 4-5 years and then we get a new one. The Accord continues to improve with each generation, this one being quieter and more luxurious than her 06 LX. Plus, we actually paid less for the 2010 then her 06, some sign of the times for car dealers. I think the exterior design is horrendous but my wife likes it and no one buys an Accord for the "wow" factor. Interior is very well laid out, stereo is decent and any previous Accord owners will immediately know where every control is. Has to be the best 4 dr sedan bargain on the planet from both a price, performance and comfort standpoint.
