This Year's Model Updates:

Honda takes a bold leap for 2005 with the introduction of the Hybrid Accord. Rather than add a hybrid motor to its four-cylinder, Honda bolts its third-generation IMA system to the Accord's already-potent V6. In one fell swoop the Accord hybrid has become the class leader in fuel economy (30 city, 38 highway) and power (255 horsepower). Other changes for the 2005 Honda Accord this year include new wheel cover designs for the LX and EX trims, a new coin pocket design, illuminated steering wheel controls and improved rear styling in sedans with redesigned taillamps. In addition, front-seat side airbags and full-length head curtain airbags are now available on all trim levels all the way down to the base DX model.

Cons:
  • Tepid handling, brakes should be more powerful.

I bought 2005 accord 2 weeks ago and im very happy. I really enjoy driving it. I have owned a lot of diferent cars and this car is just amazing.I Wonder how Honda makes profit on this car with all the standard equipment. I love he interior, it looks great. I recommend this car to everybody that are uncertain, test drive one and you will see for your self. Thank you Honda for a great car.

Ive always been a big fan of Acura tls but since U.S. economy sucks lately, I had to downgrade (or so I thought). I bought an 05 Accord ex with everything, from tire pressure sensors, to heated seats, XM and navi. Features that I never had on my 2000 rl. Gas mileage is great, handing is awesome. Styling is just as good as Acuras. Speed is ok, but for the price? You just cant beat it! Oh did I mention 100k warranty? From burnt light bulb to blown engine, they cover it at no cost. Buy one!

I have over 3,000 miles on the car. Very dependable car even though Ive had 1 problem so far; the rear driver side door latch locked with the door open and the door wont close (taking it to the dealer later today). Excellent family car. Excellent mileage, over 32 mpg highway with ac and 70 mph. There is a rather large blind spot to due to the roof pillar.

My 2005 Honda Accord is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned. The Honda Accord EX-V6 with leather is more than just a car. No words could explain the Accord. All I can say is drive one. Im not a big fan of imports but i test drove just about everything before i purchased my Accord and i never ever even considered purchasing one but I was there so i said let me drive it... SOLD!

and keeps on tickin! Two people have run into me with my 05 Accord, and I have walked away fine. I couldnt imagine not having the side airbags. The car has been a pleasure to have, and I will continue to purchase Hondas.

From a family of John Deere and Chevrolet people, it was a breach of etiquette for me to buy a Japanese car. After three years, this is one of the best products I have ever bought...not just the best car. You normally expect some problems with a car like losing pickup, chipped paint, lose a water pump, brakes go early, something...I guess I am just used to what Chevrolet is putting out. My Accord however, has been perfect. The gas mileage is not great, but for a performing V-6 the mileage is just fine. For better mileage get the V-4, but on teh tollway I need the V-6 acceleration.

This honda has been an answer to my prayers. It has everything you need from looks to luxury. Its interior is really quiet and the ride is very smooth. This vehicle accelerates like a V6 and handles like a sports car. This honda has a V-tec engine unlike its main competition, the toyota camry, which makes the accord accelerate a lot faster than it would without a v-tec engine. This car is really fuel efficient and spacious. What more could I say its a Honda.

Ive never owned a Honda before this. My previous cars were all fast, fun and sporty. When my last car began having serious problems, I decided to take a look at the Accord. The 4 cylinder model isnt a road racer, but Ive found that this car as a whole is one of the finest overall I have ever driven. Agile, light, and confortable, my problem free Accord has been nothing short of trustworthy, fun, frugal, and perfect. Would I like a big horsepower car? Sure. Would I give up my Accord in a Chicago winter? Nope. Im keeping mine for a long time. This will eventually become my winter car that I will use to supplement the sports car. Even still, my Accord drives great and is perfect.
