Remember the song "Ode to My Car"... - 1993 Ford Tempo
By Niqo - February 15 - 2:00 amDont get one of these. You will end up spending all your money on repairing it every other month. Everytime you get something fixed, something else breaks. Its not worth it. Its not a good car.

Ford Tempo - 1990 Ford Tempo
By Sean Stevens - February 15 - 2:00 amI bought my Ford Tempo new in 1990. Over the years all it took was a new muffler. It is excellent on gas and is built tough. I have been i a few fenderbenders over the years but it has always stood up. I drove the car up to last year when the transmission went. I can do the repairs myself because all it needs is a case but I have been too busy. The A/C went but probably needs a compressor. All in all this car has performed and stood up excellent over the years.

Worst car ever. - 1991 Ford Tempo
By ford hater - January 6 - 2:00 amSomething has went wrong with this car every month that Ive had it. Then when you try to fix something it is hard to get at and you end up breaking something else.

Ole Faithful - 1990 Ford Tempo
By Prof6 - December 29 - 2:00 amI love this car!!! With just routine maintenance (although it does use more than average front suspension parts), this car is unbeatable. It is an absolute "bear" in the snow. It now has over 173,000 miles and is beginning to show some surface rust, so Im looking for a replacement vehicle. If it were economically feasible to replace the body and keep the car, Id do it!

4 months... and $1,000+ later - 1992 Ford Tempo
By Chris Goodrich - December 15 - 2:00 amI bought this car 4 months ago. Since then, I had to put a starter in, brakes (2 times), head gasket, the transmission is slipping BAD (have NOT replaced it), 4 new tires, an alignment/balance, cadalitic converter (ignore my spelling please), power steering AND the power steering AND oil leaks, STILL, plus I just found out that the motor is only running on 1 cylinder (instead of 4). I wont be replaceing the motor. The car stalls out if I am not hitting the gas ALL THE TIME, it smokes from the moment I start the car till I turn it off (but is not overheating), AND everything possible is leaking. What a waste of money!

cheap car - 1990 Ford Tempo
By The Mann - November 29 - 2:00 amWell, I bought this car because it was inexpensive. Right after I got it, it started getting all kind of leaks. The CV joints went bad though the boots were good. The motor, tranny, and power steering all had minor leaks. The AWD didnt work, the car got bad mileage, and the door handles ALL fell off. The radiator fan needed replacement, along with numerous sensors. The auto front belts were slow and noisy. Chaep car. Avoid these even if theyre inexpensive and look nice.

By Allie Nicole - November 16 - 2:00 amI have had the car for a year and I am dumping money in to it left and right. If it is the only car in town to buy...go to a different town!!!!

Lemonaide anyone? - 1994 Ford Tempo
By NowHateFords - October 24 - 2:00 amAt 135,000 miles, the transmission is now shot, had the calipers stick (replaced rotors, calipers, and obviously bought new pads). Tie rod were replaced (all 4, just like my previous car--Taurus), a harmonic balancer, and a new tensioner arm. Did I mention the oil leak from the seals?
