Just got a brand new 2014 fusion. This weekend we took her on her first trip, 200 miles down to Vriginia Beach. An hour in, the transmission slipped and sent the tachomenter racing. Took my foot off the gas to let it catch again. It kept doing this, especially on inclines. I was very scared. Then a wrench icon popped up. Great, in I95 traffic with a brand new yet screwed up car. Well, didnt do much on my vacation in fear of breaking down. Driving back I only allowed myself to go 60mph, even in a 65mph zone, because I didnt want to break down. It worked. Also when I am at a red light, the car shudders and wants to stall. This started a month ago.

I LOVE my Fusion S w/ 2.5L 6spd auto. I bought this car as an everyday driver to and from work 75 mi round trip. I drive my 06 Mustang GT convertible for fun but for everything else this car is perfect and a great value, including impressing customers! Smooth, Quiet, Attractive and 175hp when I need it. Im getting 38-41 MPG on highway, 30 in suburbs, 36 combined.

To steal a line form Buick, this isnt your grandmothers Ford! Wow, my new Ford Fusion SE with 1.5 L Ecoboost is awesome! My previous car was a 2009 Honda Accord EX-L V6, so naturally I test drove a new Accord, then tested a Fusion. I was amazed, the Fusion out-classed the Accord in every regard. The Accords V6 was a bit quicker, but the Ecoboosts tiny 1.5 liter turbo is close, and the 7 to 10 extra mpg at interstate speeds (70+ mph) more than makes up for the small difference. The Fusion is quieter, rides and handles better and is way better looking than an Accord which has changed little since 2008. Ford Sync is easy to learn despite some reviews to the contrary and the stereo rocks!

I love this car.I just purchased it so I dont have a lot of miles on it yet.The ride is very comfortable and noise free. The 4 cylinder 2.5 L is plenty for driving through the city or highway. This car is what I like to say " A champagne car on a beer budget".

I only have approx. 1000 miles on her. I am getting 19-20 city and approx. 27 hwy. To early to judge mileage at this point. The car drives as if it was much more expensive, very quiet and smooth. A lot of car for the money. Many compliments from people. Front Passenger seat sits to low, I would order the next one with a pwr. passenger seat. Not a rattle to be found, and all the electronics work as they should. Over all, I am very satisfied. I almost bought a Toyota Camry, until I drove this car. The Fusion is much more car for the money

  • Fusion Titanium AWD - Im Impressed - 2014 Ford Fusion

Looking for a mid-size AWD sedan and my “wants” included AWD, styling, quiet, state of the art electronics, Adaptive Cruise Control/Collision Avoidance, trunk that can fit multiple sets of golf clubs, and fun to drive. I value everyday drivability on the roads I actually drive on over track performance. I drove the BMW 3, Audi A4, Cadillac ATS, Volvo S60, Infiniti Q50. Almost giving up, tried the Fusion. Man, was I ever surprised and impressed. This car is fantastic in every aspect I care about. I was prepared to buy a much more expensive car. This car is SO smooth, so quiet, so comfortable, sporty enough, a joy to drive. I really like SYNC, too. Well done, Ford, you won me over, easily.

  • Amazing Sedan - SE 1.5L Ecoboost - 2014 Ford Fusion

I recently purchased a 2014 Ford Fusion SE with the 1.5 L Ecoboost engine mated to a 6 speed auto trans axle. My Fusion has the 202 luxury package and My Ford Touch as the options. This is the best car I owned. It is quiet, confident on the road, comfortable, and returns respectable MPG. On winter blend gas in winter conditions I am averaging 29.5 MPG on the dash, however Fulley says the actual MPG is 32. Not to shabby for the above conditions and less than 1000 miles on the odometer. This car looks, great, drives great, gets great MPG, and was a great deal. You cant go wrong.

  • 1.6 liter engine is amazing. - 2014 Ford Fusion

Best car Ive ever owned. Quiet, responsive, fun to drive, roomy, did I mention quiet. My only complaint with the entire car is the trunk lid can get into the way of my head occassionally. :) I am still amazed at the gas mileage. I average 24-28. Have gotten as high as 41 and my very lowest was 19. This car beats any sedan Ive driven.

Now, despite the fact that Ive worked for Ford for about 5 months now so I had a lot more time to study the car without being pestered by car salesmen. Now having said that, I had plenty of time to study this car and make a well informed decision. Ive owned the car for about 2 months now, have put about 1800 miles on it and still catch myself looking back at the car when I get out. Its an extremely impressive, stylish, and agile car. This car never ceases to impress. Ive been a Honda car owner all my life but after doing hard research, driving different vehicles for a couple months, and seeing different features, the Fusion rose above the rest.

  • Really impressive automobile - 2014 Ford Fusion

We sold our 2008 Honda Accord and went to the Fusion just because we felt like a change, and Fusion had been getting good reviews. We test drove it and were hugely impressed, especially how quiet it was, and how much pep it has. After 5,000 miles, we have identified only tiny negative issues: the ignition key slot is hard to see in the dark its hard to see where the front end "ends" when parking (till you get used to it), and with a full tank, we hear a little "creaking" noise that I think may go away as the car gets further broken in. Probably related to suspension or weight from a full tank.
