FOCUS = Fix Or Curse Until Stolen - 2000 Ford Focus
By Jeff - January 27 - 7:36 amThis car is an absolute piece of garbage. I got it as a commuter car for nothing but highway driving. I drive 60 miles a day at 65 in a straight line. Where do I begin to describe the problems? The interior is cheap and flimsy. The radio dial literally melts in high heat. The car feels like it will fall apart at 65. Awful road noise. The seats seem to consist of a cloth, cardboard, and styrofoam mixture. Reliability is terrible. I had it in the shop for routine mechanical and electrical problems every 6 months. It once shut off on a highway, literally turning off at 60 mph. Do not, under any circumstances, buy this car. Spend the extra money on a civic and save on repairs.

The Worst Car EVER sold - 2000 Ford Focus
By Jaki - May 13 - 10:02 pmI bought the car with 60,000 miles on it. I have got to admit now that I was down in the dumps when I bought that Ford nightmare. The next day as I was driving to work the Ford nightmare had a fuel pump problem, and then the timing belt literally exploded and then oil leak and then fuel leak and then the AC broke down and then the water pump broke down and then the back power windows broke down and the car stereo broke down -- I had to hit it hard with my fist for it to function several times and then the Ford nightmare is a noise box and then and then and then. How many times did I say "and then" - I have lost count. Mayday Mayday Mayday DO NOT EVER BUY a FORD EVER Please...

FORD FOCUS IS A LEMON! - 2000 Ford Focus
By Genevieve - January 13 - 5:18 pmI currently drive and own a 2000 Ford Focus. I havent decided if this is the worst car Ive ever owned or the Dodge Colt was. This car is in the shop every other month. I hate it with a passion & tell whoever I can not to buy one. Just wanted to make sure that my low marks on this dump would bring down the overall customer satisfaction that shows on the ratings.

piece of crap - 2000 Ford Focus
By sup - February 28 - 10:00 amAlmost 25k miles. 3 times for repairs. Engine light comes on if I dont click the gas cap "10 times" according to the dealer. Very thin windshield. Cracked 3 feet across while passing a truck hauling sand on the freeway. Auto transmission started to squeek and slip. Had to be replaced. Truely a disposable car.
