Great little car! - 1994 Ford Aspire
By chiropracticy - May 26 - 2:00 amI bought my Aspire used with about 30k miles on it. To this date I have 85k on it and it has never left me stranded. It gets great gas economy (40 mpg) and can park in spaces generally reserved for motorcycles. I wish they were still produced because I would quickly and without hesitation buy another.

Stay Away - 1995 Ford Aspire
By crysta - May 12 - 2:00 amThis car started out well but has ended up being a very expensive. Most parts are not available locally and everytime something needs to be fixed, the parts must be ordered and are not cheap. My brakes alone cost $800. The clutch continually has problems. The keys break often and no one carries the template key anymore. Ford people actually laugh when I pull up to the dealership for anything. They cannot believe that it is still running.

great little car!! - 1994 Ford Aspire
By teresa - May 1 - 2:00 amGreat, reliable, fuel-efficient around town car! Lots of room!! I plan on keeping it forever. But....not powerful or heavy enough to compete with fast moving highway traffic.

my car! - 1994 Ford Aspire
By tori c. - May 1 - 2:00 amFor a 9 year old car, my Aspire is in great running shape. I bought it about a year and a half ago, and it had one previous owner. Im going to be getting a new (used) car in the near future, and the great fuel economy of this car is going to be hard to beat! Had a new clutch installed earlier in the year, but other than that, no major problems.

Inexpensive, reliable FUN!!! - 1996 Ford Aspire
By AspireChick - April 5 - 2:00 amOne review of the Aspire summed it up as BULLETPROOF. I concur with that. My car has 116,000 miles on it and I have done NOTHING to it, other then change oil & filter, and air filter. NOTHING else has been touched. While the 63 ponies under the hood my not break your neck accelerating, it does however manage to get you around decently.

1994 Ford Aspire - 1994 Ford Aspire
By dkhenning - March 16 - 2:00 amI drove this car for over 165,000 miles and, other than about $2000 in repairs, I never had to do anything except the customary LOFs, tune-ups and muffler rapairs. Mileage was still in the 35- mpg range, while acceleration was very good for a four-cylinder five-speed. A few weeks ago, another driver hit my car from behind, totaling it, and I had a very hard time letting it go.

Fun Car - 1997 Ford Aspire
By Bessie - February 17 - 2:00 amI got this car when I moved from PA to NC. One of my gripes, no air conditioning. It has been very reliable getting me around town and on road trips. Its been from PA to FLA and from NC to PA many, many times. I have 69,000 miles on her now, and weve only been to the dealership for oil changes and fender bender fixes. I have been sandwiched between two cars in a nasty accident two years ago, and my car is still going strong. It would be nice to make it up an incline at a decent pace, but it just allows me to enjoy the scenery a little more. Overall, great car. Im going to miss it when I buy new. Especially the gas mileage.

The Durable Starter Car - 1997 Ford Aspire
By Vegete - January 7 - 2:00 amFor someone looking for something to get you here and there, this would be a decent pick, expecially if youre young. The gas milage is incredible, and you dont have to worry about knocking it around a bit (handled 2 rear end collisions). Its definetly not a car you want to be driving if youre in a hurry (not even 70hp!). Passing on the highway can be a hassle unless youre already going at a much higher speed than the person in front of you (for this reason, I suggest a manual transmission). Overall, its decent.
