Get Ready to spend money on the Tires - 1999 Chrysler Sebring
By amc42 - September 9 - 2:00 amThe tires on the Sebring are very expensive and they dont last long. I hit a pot hole and bent the rim on the car. The steering wheel does not tilt or lift up. Ive had brake problems. The car is extremely low to the ground- curb magnet. Low resale value.

wish I could do over - 1999 Chrysler Sebring
By Rosemarie B - March 29 - 2:00 amThis is the worst car I have ever owned! I am a tall person and I find the car uncomfortable. The seatbelt chokes and burns my neck. The scoupe broke from being too low. I have had brake problems, panel probs, the car is uncomfortable for passengers taller than 5 ft. I feel boxed in between the roof hight and the steering wheel. Not good for long trips. I liked it in the beginning, but grew to dislike it.Turning radius awful. Sorry!

If you like to turn heads - 1999 Chrysler Sebring
By LuvMySebring - March 8 - 2:00 amthen you will love this car. I really enjoy driving it. Very sharp. Keep in mind that this is NOT a sports car so dont expect it to drive like one. Yes, the turn radius is a bit wide, but again it is a MID SIZED car. If you find yourself whipping u-turns alot maybe you should invest in a map....??? Back seat is sufficient, but would not want to be back there on a ride over a couple hours. Very low profile, have to take it easy parking and going into/out of parking lots - easy to scrape up the front. Issues with brakes and rims can be addressed, do a google search.....several sites dedicated to the car with tons of great info on all the little quirks!

Sebrina - 1999 Chrysler Sebring
By BlondeInaRedcar - December 20 - 2:00 am"Sebrina" is a sweet-looking sporty car. Still gets wolf whistles from gear head guys and teen girls adore her. Her V6 doesnt have power in acceleration. Her nose scrapes high curbs and parking bumps catch on it. Change the tranny fluid frequently to avoid slipping. Few tire choices and high prices make new treads expensive, but the aluminum rims are sooo sharp looking! The rear view mirror fluid overheated and leaked out, making it cloudy. Roomy trunk, good gas mileage, great handling. The only back-to-dealer problem were the side panels which came loose 7 times, replaced twice! No mechanical problems in over 4 years.

Sebring convertible - 1999 Chrysler Sebring
By Herman - November 6 - 2:00 amA very fun car to drive. I have a new Caddi and a Tundra PU and when I go most anywhere the convertible is my choice of transportation. The only problem experienced is the heater blower fan needing repair.

very disappointing - 1999 Chrysler Sebring
By Resentful - October 15 - 2:00 amTurning radius is very wide. it takes at least three+ lanes to make a u turn. I have had to replace brakes once a year and the car goes through tires even faster. This car has been nothing but a pain.

Dads toy - 1999 Chrysler Sebring
By Big Phil - October 12 - 2:00 amMy third chrysler convert. 2 Lebarons {1989 and 1992} Best by far but I do miss the Turbo. Mine is a Limited with all options . I bought it as a one owner trade in at my local dealer. It is used as a cruiser only 4000 to 5000 miles a season . Great looks , good performance , much fun to drive .

1999 Sebring Convertible - 1999 Chrysler Sebring
By cupkake53 - September 4 - 2:00 amLove my car! Traded in a Buick Park Avenue for my Sebring, thought I would really miss the comfort of the PA but have found that I get great gas mileage compared to the PA and have not really missed the size of the PA. Only negative aspect is the noise of the convertible comparatively speaking, but in defense of the Sebring I believe all convertibles would be noisier. Car drives like a dream, even on icy, snow covered roads, have never been stuck.
