Great driving car-high maintenance - 1999 Chrysler LHS
By jaustin - May 30 - 2:00 amI love to drive the LHS as it is very responsive and a lot of power. However, I have spent several thousands of dollars on oxygen sensors (kills the air condition and will not shift gears- go figure), simple fans ($700) which also kill the A/C, The inside door came undone by the plastic at the bottom and it took many hours to get the door open. Two of 4 windows have stopped working and it costs about 400 dollars to fix. Too many maintenance worries- time to go back to foreign made cars.

Get a good warranty Gold - 1999 Chrysler LHS
By Breeze - March 21 - 2:00 amI REALLY like this ride.Ive had some of the problems descibed in some of the other reviews (windows, trans sensor, rubber around headlights) but the car is AWESOME. The milage is great and the comments are nice to hear. There are all the cookie cutter cars out there, not this one, very distintive.GO FOR IT. P.S. Get one with the sun roof and sound system upgrade, worth the extra dough, good resale .

Excellent luxury/sport - 1999 Chrysler LHS
By Marc P. - December 3 - 2:00 amBought this car 8 months ago and have put 20,000 miles on it. Great car, handles like a much smaller vehicle, stable on the highway and good gas mileage too. Only minor problem was driver side window motor going and switch in heated seat replaced by Chrysler for no charge! I have owned 8 cars so far(GM,Ford,Jeep)and this one is the best so far!

1999 LHS - 1999 Chrysler LHS
By Hemi2 - November 27 - 2:00 amBeautiful to look at. Great ride. THe only problems were the motors on all4 windows had to be replaced over time. Windows would stick shut. Also annoying wind noise. Other than that, wonderful long distance driver. Hugh trunk, great sound system. Comfortable seats. Strong engine. Will cruise all day 90mph.

Great luxury value! - 1999 Chrysler LHS
By TChris - September 23 - 2:00 amAn excellent value! Engine is great, 235HP. Heated leather seats and great Infinity sound system. Fuel economy is good for this class: 25- 30 hwy. The trunk is a huge cavern. Could have shortened the overall vehicle length and/or increased the leg room by shrinking the trunk a bit. The interior noise level is pretty high for a luxury car. It handles well, with 17-inch alloy wheels and low-profile tires, but its not terribly quiet. If you want a sporty luxury car without going to Mercedes or BMW to get it, this is the one!

Disappointed - 1999 Chrysler LHS
By Menace - August 30 - 2:00 amDrivers window motor replace twice. Car shakes dealer says its tires, tire dealer says its the car. Rubber seal came loose from around both headlights. Drivers seat moving as you drive, replacement part has been on order for almost 4 weeks. Noises from front suspension, some repaired after 2 years others we are living with. Way too much road noise. Big disappointment for what was sold as their top of the line.

On the road - 1999 Chrysler LHS
By Hippo - August 8 - 2:00 amMoved from a Park Avenue to the LHS, would buy another LHS if it were available. Dollar for dollar a good buy. Not likely to buy its replacement, lacks the affluent name and associated with "Cheaper" line

Bad Car, No Response from Manufacturer - 1999 Chrysler LHS
By Robert Jordan - August 5 - 2:00 amThis car has been a problem since day one. 2 of 4 windows motors replaced. Lights interior flicker, Tires have been replaced three times, windshield replaced, security key antena replaced, ac out twice in 1 year, noise coming from side view mirrors re plalced, rubber around headlights reglued, Transmission sensor went out twice, overall a very great looking car, dealership (Brevard Chrysler) did what they could, close to a lemon, under a lease, for one more year, cant get any relief, wish I could, would get rid of this thing in a heartbeat.
