Move over, fast lane slugs - 2000 Chevrolet Camaro
By wriddle - March 7 - 2:00 amThis is a real nice car, excellent convertible top functionality (though it leaks in automatic car washes), no lack of power, handles quite well, adequate mileage out of stock goodyear tires, large doors are a pain in tight parking spots, six speed can be a bear in stop and go traffic, leather seats could be better bolstered, gets a lot of positive commewnts by passers-by.

Proud city girl with her redneck ride - 2000 Chevrolet Camaro
By Tygernurse - February 28 - 2:00 amI started out leasing Baby and loved her so much I decided to buy her after 3 years. Shes quick to react due to her tight steering. Shes a beauty to look at, but her power is deceiving. Shes relatively slow off the line and pick up is delayed when you really need the old drag racing power that shes remembered for. T-tops are fun, but can be cumbersome to manage and !!HOT!! to touch when shes been in the sun. Shes a unique exterior design, you dont find that type of identity with the Accords, Civics, Camrys and Corollas. When she comes barreling down the road everyone knows her name.

Simply put Camaro Z28 - 2000 Chevrolet Camaro
By 2000Z28 - February 15 - 2:00 amBest car Ive ever owned. "A corvette with a back seat" Can not find performance like this for the money. I own a 2000 Camaro z28 with t-tops, it is seabring silver metallic with black leather. It is just beautiful. It can be sporty, a muscle car and it can be classy all at the same time.Great for everyday driving, or for just cruisin around. I love this car so much and would never trade it for another so called "sportscar".

Best bang for your buck - 2000 Chevrolet Camaro
By dkushnir - February 1 - 2:00 amI love this car! If you are looking for high performance at a relatively inexpensive cost, this is (or was) your best option. 305hp (before modification), excellent brakes, very good fuel economy for the size of the engine, and above all...its a fun car to drive. Im very sad that it is gone because the Mustang GT (not the $35k-$40k Cobra models) is now the only V8, RWD car left in the $25k-$30k price range, it it doesnt even come close to the performance of the Z28 or Trans Am.

Awesome - 2000 Chevrolet Camaro
By Kiss my SS - December 26 - 2:00 amLove this car, excellent take off power, excellent mid range and top end acceleration. Monsoon sound system is awesome. This car brightens any day of mine when I can pull it out of the garage. Only have 20,000 miles on it so far, and have loved every one of them.

Beautiful Machine - 2000 Chevrolet Camaro
By Sweet Pea - December 21 - 2:00 amThe car is obviously very attractive. The interior creates a cacoon around whoever is in the cockpit. The 200 hp power plant under the hood of the base model is quite a peppy engine. It does not compare to the V8 ,but if your looking for a V6... this is it! I have a flowmaster 80 series exhaust on my Camaro with two stainless steel flat tips like the Z 28, and it looks very nice. Upon start-up it sounds GREAT!!!, not as good during acceleration, but if you want to turn some heads when you turn the key, this will do the trick. Overall an excellent car, and a great buy. Take care of it, and it will last you a lifetime!!!

Best GM car I have ever owned. - 2000 Chevrolet Camaro
By emarkay - November 5 - 2:00 amPractical, performance, economy. Yes, I am talking about a Camaro Z28! 25 MPG average, 300plus HP, seats 4, has carried china cabinets, 15 bags of mulch, dinette sets, or 30 days worth of "on the road" stuff, and goes from 0 to 60 in six seconds. It never let us down, saved our life when a SUV decided to change lanes at 70 without looking, never too hot with the shades in, a convertible with the T-tops out, and for safety, features Rear Wheel Drive (as opposed to Wrong Wheel Drive - one must never let ones tires turn, stop and go all at once!)

My Camaro Is One Fine Automobile - 2000 Chevrolet Camaro
By Newk - November 2 - 2:00 amI always wanted a Camaro eversince the time I got out of the service. But college, marrage and kids put a damper on it. But this V6 Camaro will go down as one of my best reliable cars and with 113,000 miles it still runs strong, not a rattle, and paint looks great. GM really did a number on themselves when they stopped making this car.
