My Aging Z28 - 1995 Chevrolet Camaro
By Bryan - May 21 - 11:51 amI bought my Z in the Spring of 2003 from a young guy who was the second owner. I think he must have ran the heck out of this baby, but it rode good on the test drive and he kept it spotless. I have had it 6 years and put 75,000 mile on her. The body has help up nicely and it is a fun and powerful car. The oil pump quit working 3 days after I bought it and it spun a crank bearing. I had a new LT1 motor in it which has been outstanding so far. The transmission has some poor factory engineering however. My mech. tells me that there is a drum in the tranny made of aluminum that is too fragile to handle the high torque output of the car. Basically Z28=fun/looks/$$$. But Im not complaining

Fun! Fun! Fun! - 1995 Chevrolet Camaro
By I Love My Z 28 - March 14 - 9:58 pmI have owned this z 28 since new and could not bear to part with it. Its all black with the the black leather interior. I love this car but only drive it on weekends or sunny days. The only problem is with the Opti-Spark distributor, it has been replaced 3 times. The distributor sits under the water pump and shorts out if there is a leak. But I can accept that in a car that is this fun to own and drive!

My First Muscle Car - 1995 Chevrolet Camaro
By Jack - September 20 - 9:15 pmIve wanted a sports car ever since I started driving at 16. Now Im 19 and got my wish. The car is amazing! I love to put the top down and go to the beach. However, Im really afraid of it. Everytime it rains I fishtail. I dont even have to go hard on the gas. I hate to drive it in the rain. The top doesnt leak but the seal around the driver window does and when I open the door water spills in from the top. When I bought it the compressor for the a/c actually smoked because it would run hot. My top also squeaks and the passenger window is slower than the driver. I get excited every time I drive it and am so glad I got it, even though it has horrible mpg and rising gas prices.

A true Beast! - 1995 Chevrolet Camaro
By redz28boy - February 13 - 2:19 pmMan this car is hot. I bought the 5.7L V8 and it is fun to drive when it is no snow outside. Love the styling. I had a 92 RS w/ the 305, but after reading up on the LT1 I had to upgrade! Even though Im a third-gen fan, I dont believe you could go wrong with these either. True American muscle! Great car!

I love this car! - 1995 Chevrolet Camaro
By car_chick - January 2 - 11:23 pmIve had this car for more than 8 years and loved every day of it. It got be through high school, college and after. Its a great car and I never spent enough money on fixing it to buy a new car that even came close to this. I took it to a reputible shop to have it maintained the way it should be and maybe more than necessary. I love my little Camaro, Thor. He stopped well and got up to go when needed. Driving on the highway in the spring or fall with the t-tops off and the windows down was amazing.

A true Beast! - 1995 Chevrolet Camaro
By redz28boy - December 17 - 1:53 amI bought this car 10 months ago and I have been very pleased! I had a 92 rs Camaro with the 305 and this is a big step up. I put flowmasters on it to sound even more menacing. I love taking into open parking lots and lighting up the rear tires! If you ever have an opportunity to buy the lt1 or ls1, then I say go for it. Go Chevy!

My 95 Z28 - 1995 Chevrolet Camaro
By Chrisz - February 16 - 7:25 amI purchased an automatic car. That was a mistake. Although the car is still a blast to drive I often wish it was a 6 speed. That aside the Camaro Z-28 is a great machine. I love the power. The car is mostly factory. It has K&N filter, power chip, and front strut bar. The car handles the curves awsome, and loves to open up on the highway. When the rear end comes out it is pretty predictable. the cars styling is great. My complaints are trans, (drive and od fell out 2 weeks into driving) The glare of the dash is terrible in the windsheild. The car is a little sqeeky when driving over bumps or rough surfaces. It is a lot of car for the average person to drive around. But I find it fun.

My Camaro - 1995 Chevrolet Camaro
By James - April 14 - 11:07 pmI bought it at 87000 miles from a widow who had it in a barn with the rest of her husbands toys. The car is polo green met. convert. with tan leather int. and tan top. The car was in great unmolested condition for a 11 yr old car I have a 1970 Camaro with 320hp, and with 50 hp less (only 275hp) you do not feel it in the newer car. The automatic shifts great and shifts hard. The only short comings, the trip odometer died the day I bought it, the top needs to be replaced, mediocre mpg., stock speakers do not handle deep bass very well, passenger door power window is slow.

Pleasure and pain - 1995 Chevrolet Camaro
By ltl - February 1 - 12:57 amIts the car i`ve wanted ever since I was able to drive. When I bought it, it had 79,000 miles, who knows how the previous owner(s) maintained it, but day two, it wouldn`t start. A few months later converter went bad. Six months later opti spark failed. The car is a real pain, but you know what, I love it. Everytime I press that pedal to the floor, I still get chills. Now with a flowmaster on it scares my wife, thats what I like
