  • Disappointing - 2010 Chevrolet Camaro

I ordered a 2010 Camaro SS and kept it for just over 2 years. I had to convince myself that I liked the car, when I actually couldnt stand it. When people would ask me how I feel about it, Id mutter "eh its fun". But honestly, this thing drives like a clunker. Fast? Absolutely! But it handles like a bus with no visibility. Its advertised MPG is a longshot as well. Its really around 11-14. An additional sting came from the terrible internal options. Anyone that has driven a variety of sports cars can tell you the same thing, this isnt a real sports car. Ive since changed over to a much smaller, lighter, far superior (though slower) RWD vehicle that actually offers a driving experience.

  • 2010 - 2011 Camaro - Front End Suspension Issues - 2010 Chevrolet Camaro
    By -

After a couple of months of owning the 2010 2SS RS Camaro, it started making very annoying front end noises, loud annoying clunking sounds when going over bumps or rivets in the pavement. The car now sounds like it is 10 years old. I have opened a case with GM but apparantly this is the case with MOST 2010 - 2011 Camaros and GM refuses to fix the issue at this time. If you visit this forum link you can see how many Camaro owners are having this issue. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2648682#post2648682 I have been dealing with this issue now for months and it gets me sick driving the car. Before you buy this car please see if GM came out with a resolution.

  • New Camaro - Grade F - 2010 Chevrolet Camaro

I must have owned 10 camaros in my lifetime and am so disappointed with what Chevy built. I know they were dealing with heavy financial issues and competing with Ford and Dodge, but they should have taken more time to do it right. The front end is way cool, but thats it. Almost looks like to replicated a 67/68 Quarter Panel and used the rear roof line off a Cadillac CTS and squished it with a corvette rear bumper. The 2011 convertible is even worse. There is a drop in the quarter panel right after the door and simply looks terrible.

  • Worst design and customer service EVER! - 2010 Chevrolet Camaro
    By -

I have a 2010. At first I loved it. I baby all my vehicles like its my child. I do not drive on gravel roads or construction I wash it even if its going to rain. Something You have too watch for. The front tires are kicking up debris and taking the paint off on the door and by the vents! I have a yellow one and its noticeable. I have a quote for $1400. Two dealerships and GM said its my problem I should have bought mud flaps. I only have 4k miles on the car when I noticed this. Its a flaw in the paint or the design. I have the accessory book that came with the car splash guards were not an option at the time so how is it my fault. I even gave them almost 3k for extra warranty and meant nothing!

  • questionable reliability & resale value - 2010 Chevrolet Camaro

Overall is pretty good but since I also own both 2009 M3 and 2008 M5 then Im thinking to get rid of this Camaro since I dont think this is one of the true sport car out there you can find. For those who loves this very much I suggest you go test at least the ISF, M3 or C63 before driving the Camaro. Im sure you will find something is missing from this American brand. Never buy the V6 because 300 HP is not something new anymore in todays market, a G37s can easily blow you away. For V8, just get the manual one coz the automatic version has less HP for fuel economy purpose but it doesnt save much at all for long term.
