I have only been happy with the mechanical performance of this vehicle. I think It is one of the worst cars to drive on the road today. It is all over the place and It does not get great gas mileage for its size. It is an ugly car also. There is a lot of room in the back seat.

I have had my car for about a month now and I get all kinds of compliments on it. It rides nice and I feel it is very comfortable and economical. Would advice it for anyone looking for an economical and cute car.

  • Best Car Ive ever Owned! - 2004 Chevrolet Aveo

My mechanic recommended this car, and Im glad I listened to him. Have done nothing but oil/lube in the 2-1/2 years Ive owned it. Not one mechanical problem. Very fun to drive, easy maneuvering, good pick up on the passing gear. Like everyone else says, great interior room. Looks small and squished in from the outside, but when you get inside, you feel like youre in a Suburban. My boyfriend is 65" with a very long torso he ususally has to hunch down in a car. He couldnt believe the headroom in the Aveo. Its a zippy little rollerskate and you can park it anywhere. The gas mileage is terrific.

  • Do NOT buy one of these! - 2004 Chevrolet Aveo

The saddest day of my life was the day I bought one of these things. Poor quality, poor craftsmanship, hopelessly bad dealer servicing. Already had it in the shop twice with less than 500 miles! Wait a few years before buying one these.

When my truck got totaled back in 2004, and I was nearing retirement, I looked for an economy vehicle. I saw the Aveo LS Hatchback. Didnt take but a minute to decide that was my choice. I have had countless compliments on it and am so happy with it. I would like to see this make and model continue. Thanks Chevy!!

  • Surprisingly solid so far! - 2004 Chevrolet Aveo

I recently purchased the Aveo and find it to be amazingly solid for an economy car! The ride is smooth on the street and the highway, and I feel safe in it. The Aveo is superior to the Kia Rio when it comes to its design, both inside and out. Kia may offer a longer warranty, but you wont feel like youre driving a reliable car at all. Its a zippy, sporty car and if the Honda Civic had a little sister, the Aveo would be it.

  • The Aveo is Fun! - 2004 Chevrolet Aveo

The new Chevy Aveo is a smart, good- looking, fun vehicle! The body design is such that it can easly maneuver into many tight spots while the interior provides ample space for even the tallest passengers. It has the power to come up to speed quickly, smoothly and quietly. Overall, its impressive.

  • Best and safest little car for the money - 2004 Chevrolet Aveo

I bought this car had it for 2 years never had a problem ever just regular maint. Saturday June 17th 2006 I hit something in the road and lost control of the vehicle. Crashed into telephone poll and fliped over. I am happy to say that all I had was some bruises and even though the car is no more, I can safely say that car saved my life. I am buying another one.

Ive been driving this car for about two years now, it never let me down. I love the way it rides, its zippy! The back seats are extremely roomy, my two large dogs feel comfortable back there. Trunk is big enough to hold a weeks worth of grocheries.
