  This is a good all around car. It handles like a dream but lack a little power but is suffiecient. Interior and extierior design is wonderful yet simple. This car will last forever IF you take care of it. If you neglect it just a little the problems show up. Great car I love it!

  This car will be in the shop more then a toyota, but there is a reason why you didnt want a toyota in the fist place, I love the styling and everything about this car.

  Loved the car, until I hit 60K miles - fuel pump, thermostat, two water pumps, CV Boots, coolant reservoir, radio/casette player. Treated like a human wallet by the dealer in Hermosa Beach, CA. Used to love the car, now I am going broke keeping it going.

  Terrific performance - 1996 Audi A4

  I bought it used (96) in 4/99. Fantastic handling, cornering and shifting. Great Bose audio with 8 speakers. Very comfortable leather seats for long drive. I drove from DC to Quebec city - it was a lot of fun. Handles well at 120 mph (in Canada !). Overall fun and luxurious car to drive. Will definitely buy it again. Only had some trouble with front suspension once.

  This has been a great car to drive. Very comfortable and great handling. It did not loose anything even after 2 front-end wrecks. I agree the cup holders are a joke. If you make a fast turn, big cups tip. Dashboard layout is easy to use. I have not had any significant mechanical problems other than a fuelpump that faltered in the first year. It was cheerfully replaced while I drove a loaner.

  I loved this car the day I bought it. I purchased with 85K and have only had work on the rear brakes. Car is amazingly fast and handles like a sports car. Suspension is perfect for any driving situation and has an extremely comfortable ride. I would encourage any one to buy this vehicle.

  The FWD has great pick up especially if you have the 5spd with the saved weight. It is a little on the roley side, but it is taken care of by easy instal of sway bar in the rear. Super comfy and attention to detail is incredible. It had no problems with it when I got it at 63k and it still doesnt at 80k. Turns heads and I have got more comments on this car then any other even my 300zxtt.

  Bought new May 1996. Had only one problem in all that time power window control needed to be replaced. Fantastic in the snow with a set of Pirelli snows. Fun to drive and has been very reliable

  Never think of buying a 96 Audi A4.I have spent 10K for repairs of this car until now.Thanks God mostly paid off by extended warranty(feel sorry about them).Transmission/clutch very poor (replaced-still uncomfortable)Tie rod ends replaced and many other mechanical problems occured.Just the biggest pain I ever had in my entire life.

  The overall has and still is very dependable. There have been no costly or major defects in the 6 years I have had the car.
