The entire Audi lineup receives a new 4-year/50,000-mile limited warranty and no-charge scheduled maintenance, a 12-year limited warranty against corrosion perforation, and 24-hour roadside assistance for four years. All A4s are now equipped with head protection airbags, have lengthier oil change intervals and an optional Electronic Stabilization Program (ESP). The 1.8T engine gets a horsepower boost from 150 to a racy 170 and meets ULEV standards.

Great car for active lifestyles! - 2001 Audi A4
By yss - February 11 - 2:00 amIve had this car for close to 2 years now... and the only problem has been a pair of squeeky windshield wipers. The car handles wonderfully... my quattro wagon handles better than my buddys BMW 330ci. Its fun to drive and great for trips with friends and all our gear. The car gets lousy gas mileage... I get about 13 mpg in the city! Well, what can I expect? I live in San Francisco and I drive up many steep hills in a relatively heavy car with all wheel drive! However, I can drive from San Francisco down to LA on one tank of gas! Overall, a great car!

By The Colonel - February 7 - 2:00 amExtremely capable car. Even with very little tread on summer tires I had very little trouble negotiating a 2 inch snow/ice drive to work recently. Excellent gas mileage for a performance car. Drive train makes even a fat footed driver seem like a pro.

I can not recomend this Car - 2001 Audi A4
By JohnO - January 24 - 2:00 am56000 miles Failed and paid for by Audis warrenty: Temp sensor & gauge Steering colum and rack Turn Signal cluster Clock spring Digital display in dash coil pack oil pump oil pick tube this all totaled $4000.00 in repairs that Audi picked up most. This is not uncommon research audiworld.com for the problems others are having. Look elsewhere for a reliable car

Dont Buy This Car! - 2001 Audi A4
By RyanC - November 27 - 2:00 amI bought a 2001 A4 in Sept. of 2001 and it has given me nothing but problems. In a little over a year I have had a laundry list of problems ranging from engine problems (cylinder coil, faulty oil pump, problems with the turbo,etc.) to safety problems (faulty air bag) to just plain annoying problems like a leak in my rear windshield, leak in the washer fluid system, bad CD player, buttons on the console that stopped working, and an ashtray that doesnt open! It seems ive been driving a rental more than my own car. If I wanted to drive a Ford Escort I would have bought one! DONT BUY AN AUDI!!

I love to have people test me on the freeway, the turbo will blow them away. this car looks great both inside and out. I love the way the seats feel and the comfort they provide. I dont have anybody to sit in the back so there is plent of room for the kid. Had minor problems with a faulty read from a loose sensor.

2001 Audi Wagon 1.8 - 2001 Audi A4
By M. - October 5 - 10:00 amI had wanted an Audi wagon for awhile. I did a lot of research on the car. I did finally end up purchasing one and overall, I have enjoyed driving it. Some issues that I have sadly encountered are: I had to have a new transmission after owning it for 1 month! The sunroof has an awful vibration unless the two back windows are rolled down some. If you purchase the sport package as I did, the tires create a lot of wind noise!
