  • Lexus - December to Remember - 2016 Lexus ES 350

I was looking to buy a left over 2015 Lexus ES350 but the 2016 is a redesign and looks better in my eye. Dealers will discount 2015s msrp by 10% But when they did the same with the 2016 it was a no brainer. Do get the navigation package - its worth the extra IMO. One last note - if the VIN starts with "J" like jar its made in Japan which my mechanic sez is a good thing.

  • Headrest issues prevent a sale! - 2016 Lexus ES 350
    By -

This automobile was on my short list. Now, after several years, I am finally prepared to purchase a car that will last me for the next 10-12 years. Overall, I was very pleased with the 2016 es350 Ultra Luxury Sedan, and would have "plugged the trigger" and made the purchase. However, due to the terribly designed headrest in this car, I will sadly have to pass. What a shame! The car is everything I need and want. Unfortunately, there really is no way for me to be comfortable while driving. I tend to sit fairly erect when I drive, and the headrest makes me very uncomfortable. I am 60. Now, I am considering my other choice, 2016 Toyota Avalon Limited. Of course, it will lack several "luxury touches", but the headrest is not as intrusive as the es350. I wish Lexus would make an adjustable headrest that you could adjust an inch or two backwards. I know this is for safety, but I feel certain that I am not the only person that feels this way.

  • Very Nice Car - 2016 Lexus ES 350

I didnt rate repair frequency or dealership support, because I havent owned the car long enough to decide. I get lots of compliments on its looks and it being a Lexus makes it even more attractive.

  • Why I purchased my Lexus ex350 - 2016 Lexus ES 350

This is a great car.not only in luxury but in value. I have shopped Acura Tl, too small for a large size man, same with Camary and Accord. My main concern was with the new safety technology , I was a driving school supervisor years ago. It has all since I went with the most options, Radio is outstanding Mark Levinson is worth the price. I have owned Infinity Q45, G37x, Acura TL, Acura SL, and Toyota Prius, nothing compares with the car or its value Thank you Lexus, and my 1986 Cressida was just a sample of your quality. Just a note I have not been advised or paid for this endorsement Again, what a auto Stewart Charaton

  • Review after first week - 2016 Lexus ES 350

Overall experience is great. It feels like a driving a spaceship! (Considering that I have never driven a luxury car before). One thing I am not crazy about is the door slamming. Those doors dont close easily. Both I and my passengers find ourselves miss the first try a few times. The acceleration is not the best which I have expected but somehow still feel the need to say it here. The look of the car (in and out) is awesome. I am a fan of the spindle grille (that is all that matters). Somehow the feeling of sharp image but comfortable ride works out for me. The white color (eminent pearl white) I chose does bring some challenge in the days after a snow. The fact that this is a nice and new car make the dirty mud on the car less bearable.

  • Best Es yet - 2016 Lexus ES 350

This is a very comfortable car. I came from a 2014 328i M sport. That car was great too but it was a little small for a family. Plus the reliability scared me every time I got in it. Not this Lexus though. This is a family car! I never worry about if something expensive is going to break or going into limp mode "bmw". I am 35 years old and I always thought I will look like an old man in this car. You know what this car makes you mature and look established. The led headlights are bright and show the road well. The navigation still looks like my 2008 Toyota Camry navigation though. I really wish Toyota would update their nav systems. The seats are la z boy comfortable. I am ready for a road trip. Standard stereo is more than enough. More than enough acceleration and very serine interior. I definitely would buy this over any other brand. Bmw drives nice but costs way too much. Acura is boring, Mercedes is over rated and Audi is in trouble. Buy a Lexus!

  • Unhappy with 2016 Lexus es350 Rides like a truck - 2016 Lexus ES 350
    By -

If you have owned a 2011 or 2005 Lexus do not expect the same comfort inside or on the road. The seats are hard, road noise inside is bad and I am very dissatisfied with its over all ride and comfort, and road noise. Mine rides just a tad above my husbands 2015 Dodge truck. I dont know what happened to the quality but I am very unhappy with my new 2016 Lexus es350. I did not test drive it and that was a big mistake. However, I did not test drive my 2011 or 2005 and I am m not sure a simple test drive would have been enough to tell me how uncomfortable this 2016 was going to be. I trusted since I was buying a high end car like the lexus it would be of a quality I had known before. I am looking for a 2012 or earlier used lexus and will sell this one. I just hate that Lexus has fallen into the cheap car routine. Why not have leather seats?? I dont want a sports car I want a car that is comfortable. Very displeased with this new car would not recommend unless a person wants an sports rcar.

  • My new Car - 2016 Lexus ES 350

The seat sits a little low for me...I am short and have low profile tires. I could use a skinny pillow to raise me up higher for better visability. Very comfortable though.

  • Redesigned 2016 Lexus ES 350 Luxury Package - 2016 Lexus ES 350
    By -

This is my 6th Lexus. Previously owned GS, 3 Rx models over the years and currently have an IS 250 that my wife drives. I was in the market for a new car and seriously considered other luxury models including the new C300 Mercedes, BMW 5 series, Cadillac CTS even toyed with the idea of the Porche Macan. I thought after many years of Lexus maybe I wanted a fresh change. After viewing, researching, and pricing the different models with options and overall editor and customer reviews Lexus was still #1 in reliability and value. I had driven the 2015 ES 350 when my RX was in for service and was impressed with the comfort and handling. When the 2016 came out I truly loved the redesign with the new front end and rear end. I test drove it with the 18" wheels and was very impressed. Quick, smooth, quiet, comfortable, and a truly upscale luxury interior. Before I made my decision I decided to wait and test drive the new 2016 RX when it hit the market. For me the 2016 ES 350 just handled beautifully and I am extremely happy with my purchase. I have the luxury package which includes the new leather seat design with double stitching, 18" wheels, and the one touch power trunk. This is a wonderful luxury car and a great value.

  • Good But not the best - 2016 Lexus ES 350
    By -

Been driving about a month now. Changing from Audi A6 07 model, ES gives me more comfort and convenience yet I cant give it five stars since it has a bit unsturdy lower body in the highway driving. Also it has lot of IT stuffs, mobile connections etc. However the User interface is not really user friendly. For instance, its hard to control the navigation. Theres no Navi button anywhere in the panel. In order to go to Nav, at lease two or three steps you need to use fake mouse that ES provides. And its map is really crappy. Voice recognition needs a lot of improvement compared to other German cars. The default speakers are acceptable, but some AM radio stations (although it has HD radio option) sound almost inaudible. The manually folding side mirrors are design fault in the big sized car like ES. Its gas tank is such small that allows to go upto 350 miles with full tank. I know I sound a bit harsh but these are my impression of 2016 ES350.
