  Still a Great Car - 2004 Volkswagen R32

  I have owned my Volkswagen R32 for about four months now and it still excites me each time I drive it! The exhaust note is still addicting and the handling is incredible! This car is all about balance. Where all other cars in this class are about trying to get the fastest 0-60 times or the highest Gs and fastest slalom times, this car is about everyday, usable performance. On a 8/10 scale, it can keep up with anything on the road while delivering a comfortable ride, all wheel drive stability along with a bunch of options (moonroof, awsome stereo, automatic climate control, seat warmers, etc.). There is no turbo lag, no darty handling, just pure driving pleasure, and German style!

  This car drives excellent. The highway is just a walk in the park. No one would notice how fast the car is going at high speed if he doesnt look at the speedometer.

  No complaints. Eighth new VW, car is everything I had hoped for. 4-motion and engine are great. 6-speed seems to be very close ratio (in 1st thru 4th) and is a delight with a nice light clutch. Love the interior. Exhaust note is enhanced by removing vacuum line which controls a diverter valve byt the rear muffler, awesome!! Breaks are excellant, suspension is just right for street use.

  The 2004 Volkswagen R32 is a great car to drive and its built very well. You feel safe in it and you feel like it will be there for a while. I would recomend this car to anyone.

  This car is quite the little shocker. A thirty thousand dollar hatch that justifies the price with both performance and creature comforts.

  Predictable, fast, fun. Ive been pulled over three or four times and cops alway let me go, this car does not shout out "give me a ticket " but yet it will blow the doors off alot of the competitons striaght out of the wrapper. Oh yeah, If you didnt read the warning that came with tires, do it. these thing will not even track striaght if the forecast calls for snow!

  The Brand New Volkswagen Golf R32 is a quick and fun car to drive. More power then its little brother the GTI. The R32 is a 3.2 VR6 with 240hp, All-wheel drive german monster.

  This is my first VW, but I have purchased 7 smaller Audis since 1975. The R32 is everybit the equal of any of my sporting Audis, including the 225 TT quattro. The interior has a very similar feel to the TT. The engine is powerful but a little too turbine-smooth for my taste. Acceleration lags a bit in the lower rpm range - I prefer the 3k rpm kick of Porsche boxer engines. Even in metallic black the R32 gets plenty of attention from bystanders. Only 1% realize that it is a near- exotic vehicle. Others look at it with an expression of "theres something differant about that VW" This car is certainly the highest performance VW ever bolted together. No warranty work needed in 12 months.
