This Year's Model Updates:

After debuting last year, the Volkswagen CC sees a handful of changes for 2010. Among them are the 2.0T's adoption of VW's six-speed automated-clutch DSG transmission (it replaces last year's conventional six-speed automatic), newly standard Bluetooth, a new touchscreen-operated audio system, new wood accents for the VR6 and new rear badging that shows "CC" and indicates the trim level.

Pros:
  • Peppy and fuel-efficient base turbo engine, powerful optional V6, balanced ride and handling, well-equipped, stylish inside and out, available all-wheel drive on VR6 model.
Cons:

  • Love it so far - 2010 Volkswagen CC

New in 2010 is the DSG auto transmission, plus I was surprised to get satellite radio with the new touch screen stereo and blue tooth as standard features. A $700 value in 09. Got at invoice plus a $289 dealer doc fee.

Bought it last summer with pleanty of driving in my future. It turns heads. Fun to drive, the sport setting on the transmission is perfect. Ive driven this all over the country and loved every mile. It handles like a dream over desert hwy and curvy mountain roads. I upgraded from my second Jetta and couldnt be happier. I love this car as much as I loved my IS300.

  • 100 miles a day - 2010 Volkswagen CC
    By -

As someone who commutes over 100 miles a day to my office I was looking for a car that I could enjoy driving and as VW fan I gave them first chance for my most recent purchase. I planned to shop the Mercedez C class but never got to their dealership. Test drove the CC and was sold. I love the VW tight handling and this car takes it up a notch from my previous Passatt 4Motion. The aggressive exterior lines, the growl of the engine at startup and the 290 Hpower all make driving it fun. Like some other posters of reviews, I had the badging taken off the rear to keep that element of mystery as people wonder what type of car it is when they see it. Blue tooth, touchscreen Nav, both great.

  • Best buy youll ever make - 2010 Volkswagen CC

I used to own a Jetta and wanted to test drive as many cars before I made the purchase. I test drove everything from a Camaro 2SS, 370Z to BMW 1- and 3- series. My budget was $40k approx. The top contenders were BMW 335, MB C300 and the CC. I think the BMW is on the sporty end and MB on the luxury end and the CC is smack in the middle. Have had it for three months and love everything about it...still looking for excuses to drive. The short throw clutch is taking a while to get used to but the transmission is super smooth. The styling is top notch and I often find myself checking my own car out in the parking lot. Love how the back end looks at night with the "floating" tail lights.

  • 2 Month Follow Up - 2010 Volkswagen CC
    By -

Ive had the CC for a couple of months now. The DSG transmission is great on country roads or highways with its quick up & down shifts. However - I would call it anything but smooth in the city. Jerky stops & starts, sometimes wont shift into 1st at a stop sign. This makes it lethargic once you get back on the gas and the cars in 2nd gear. Quick stops are sometimes scary. The transmission will give you a bit of engine braking, but then shift into a lower gear making it hard to judge how much force you should have on the brake pedal. Its a bit of a nuisance, but you learn to live with it.

  • Love it! - 2010 Volkswagen CC

After looking at several different cars over the past year, I finally decided to get the CC. For the price, this is absolutely the best car. Definitely feels like I should have paid more for what I got. Interior is very nice, and the same goes for the exterior. Surprisingly good gas mileage, as long as you dont have a lead foot. Sport mode is very responsive when driving through the canyons, and the handling is excellent. Go out and test drive this car!

  • So far so good.. - 2010 Volkswagen CC

Its good to be driving German again. The CC is comfortable, well behaved on the road, and quiet inside the cabin. Seats are very comfortable, and so are the rest of the creature comforts, I just wish it came with Nav standard. Ive been wanting the CC since it first came out, and now I have one! Everyone stops and stares at it. The exterior is very unique, sleek, and beautiful.

  • Good to be back! - 2010 Volkswagen CC

Ive owned several VWs in the past, none ever gave me any extreme issues. Gave Dodge a chance, good cars, just not for me. Had a 2008 Honda Accord that was absolutely great, reliable, fuel efficient, and loaded to the gills with features, and convenience. Having said that, I traded it in yesterday for the CC! Man, what a difference!! 1. Interior is gorgeous in the CC 2. Radio touchscreen, Bluetooth, are top notch. 3. No 5th seat! 4. QUIET INSIDE! The Honda, let the world inside of it with noise. 5. Handling, refinement, and quality is very good.

  • Favorite Car Ive Ever Owned! - 2010 Volkswagen CC
    By -

I bought this car two weeks ago and I still look for reasons to go for a drive. I really do believe that it is the best car for the money. I did extensive research and test drove a Subaru Legacy, Ford Fusion and a Nissan Altima. The Volkswagen kept calling me back. It looks great and is simply fun to drive. Tons of power, good gas mileage (I get about 32 mpg on the highway and 27 mpg overall) plenty of room, and an unbelievable list of options even on the base car. As long as you can live with only fitting two in the back seat, Id definitely recommend it.
