  • Truck of the year - 2005 Toyota Tacoma

This truck is awesome. I get so many compliments of the truck and the color I chose which is speedway blue. It stands out in a crowd of all types of vehicles and it has the power to pass all of them. Gas mileage is pretty bad though. It handles quite well off road with its TRD suspension and fairly high stock ground clearance. It beats all of its competition in most categories. and its a Toyota.

  • Best vehicle I ever owned - 2005 Toyota Tacoma

Toyota is the leader in small trucks. From the molded truck bed (not metal) to every feature right down to comfort. I have a very bad back, and have never been in discomfort after a long drive. The handling is superb. I can get into and out of small parking spaces with no problem. The truck is built sturdy. Rides like a dream. Takes heavy rain/snow slick roads heavily and safely (a reminder to readers: Careful driving in any vehicle is the main key factor). Fuel economy is excellent. The service by Toyota has been beyond excellence, right down to the personal reminders I receive when maintenance is due. Safety features built in give me peace of mind.

  • Tacoma is a Winner - 2005 Toyota Tacoma

Whats not to like about the newest generation of Tacoma . I love my CC 05 ! Plenty of room ,easy exit level, great interior and quiet. Plenty of power from the v6 and you can smoke lots of other trucks and cars with the power to weight ratios ,can be very quick for a truck. After driving Ford F150s and Rangers -I am totally sold on this truck ,to me it is the perfect size (no longbed with the CC style-please!) I would highly reccommend this truck -it deserves the sales numbers it is getting .

  • One fun truck to drive/own - 2005 Toyota Tacoma

One very fun truck to drive. With the V6 engine, this thing runs like a scared jackrabbit! Comfortable seating and even the standard sound system is better than the Bose I had I had in my last truck. However, I do find the engine to be rather noisy at times, especially under hard acceleration, and the gas mileage is lower than I expected, currently running about 16.5 mpg around town. Hopefully this will improve as the engine gets broken in more.

  • The Best Compact Truck Ever - 2005 Toyota Tacoma
    By -

The new Toyota Tacoma 2005 is the best compact truck ever. The handling is impressive for the siza of the truck. the 4.0L V6 is amazing for a small engine. The truck is one of a kind. The gas mileage is great. I reccommend this truck to a true truck lover.

  • overall a great truck - 2005 Toyota Tacoma

I sold my 1999 taco and got the 05. Love this truck. The 4.0 is powerfull and the difference from the 3.4 is night and day. The access cab is the #1 reson I wanted this truck. styling is a bit contemporary but it fits the truck well. I have the sport seats and they are comfortable. The TRD off road pkg is awesome. The truck definitely is larger on the exterior and the interior is very spacious. My father is 64" tall and he is very comfortable in this truck. The composit bed is a great Idea. I will have to see how it holds up. Take one for a drive and see for your self.

  • My life long dream come true - 2005 Toyota Tacoma

I have wanted a toyota ever since they were toys and this year I bought one right off the show room floor. It rides great and has plenty of leg room. The engine sounds good. The gas mileage is great, I have driven 265 miles and 3/4 of a tank. The outside is beautiful and well curved. The bed is awesome. The whole package is worth the price.

  • My First Toyota - 2005 Toyota Tacoma

I drove everything else. The Toyota drove bettter and handled better and had a bigger bed. Tons of power, smooth ride for a truck and great stance... The best part is the fact that with the TRD package I sit just as high as a stock 4x4 F-150! It took two weeks to find a blue 4x4 double cab with TRD in So Cal, but was worth the wait. First auto tranny Ive owned.

  • Truck of the Year And I can prove it - 2005 Toyota Tacoma
    By -

I had reviewed trucks for a year before purchasing. I actually didnt want the truck because I didnt think it would haul, tow, and still maintain its ablitly to drive to work everyday. I was WRONG. This truck is FUN, and economical. I would like better gas mileage but I know what I was getting into with a V6. The power & comfort that the truck provides is excellent but yet it feels like a car while driving. When needed, the truck will traverse terrain and tow with ease.

  • Just what I expected by Toyota. - 2005 Toyota Tacoma

Absolutely the best buy I have made with a vehicle. Only bad point...the windshield isnt rock proof. My truck has performed flawlessly and I look forward to my next year with it. Thank you Toyota!
