XLE and XLE Limited models now offer a power-adjustable passenger seat.
- Smooth ride, refined V6, fold-flat 60/40 third-row seat, seven- and eight-passenger seating configurations, great fuel economy, available all-wheel drive.
- A bit too much lean in the corners, seat comfort and noise isolation could be better, expensive option packages.

Excellent family vehicle. - 2005 Toyota Sienna
By TWM - August 13 - 4:56 pmBrand new vehicle that weve had for 24 hours. I really like the feature set of this auto. The leather appointments are well finished and of extremely high quality. The laser cruise adjust is very nice on the highway. The navi system is accurate and easy to use. The three zone air conditioning works very well. There are almost too many features to discuss. Suffice to say, this is a luxury mini-van if there is such a thing.

Not thrilled with Quality does not feel like Toyota product - 2005 Toyota Sienna
By gigi24 - August 8 - 2:36 pmI am really disappointed about the quality of 2005 Toyota Sienna. It has 112,000 miles and about 8 months ago things starts braking one at a time. Here are some of the issues I have uncounted. * Tries are rotated at every 5,000 miles and alignment at every 15,000 miles still Tires wear at an angle. * Cracks start appearing on the dash board, now cracks are expanded across entire dash board. * Power steering rack start leaking on the both ends and dealer wants $1,800 replace it * Rubbers hosing that holds antenna broken and other rubber items stats cracking * The glue that holds glass to the windows motor came off . * Tailgate struts broken rear door does not keep up.

2005 Sienna - 2005 Toyota Sienna
By Lee - June 27 - 6:53 pmWe bought our toyota almost a month ago, and we couldnt be more satisfied. Were averaging slightly more than 22 mpg with mixed driving, which should only improve - great for a van with this amount of room and comfort. Plenty of "bells and whistles" on this base CE model, and solid power. We did plenty of research, and the price difference between this and the Honda, sold us on the Toyota. We also felt the Sienna mileage rating was more reliable - which its proven to be.

" Ford Begone" - you lost us !! - 2005 Toyota Sienna

Our last 4 vehicles have been Fords - and they lost us as customers with numerous quality problems, and unsatisfactory customer service - a real disappointment.

Lots of Interior Space - 2005 Toyota Sienna
By KeithS - June 7 - 12:06 pmWe bought this car because my wife needed lots of room to haul around products for her business. Its great for long road trips: comfortable seats, cruise control, and telescoping steering wheel with well-designed controls, lots of cup-holders, and plenty of electrical sockets for technology gadgets. Maintenance-wise: changing the oil and replacing front brake pads are both quite easy. However, accessing the rear bank of spark plugs is almost impossible; dealer charges $400+ to change all 6 plugs. Replacing the air filter and rear wiper blade were a pain. Airflow over the windshield has a "whistling" sound. The paint on front chips away too easily. No "really big" repairs yet, though.

Watch the DOORS! - 2005 Toyota Sienna
By macdukep - May 26 - 11:10 pmSliding rear doors have been malfunctioning since purchased. Do not buy this model if you live in cold climates: the sliding doors freeze shut on a regular basis. Also one of the sliding doors malfunction and will not open at all (feels like the child lock is on even when it is off.) Other people with same problems can be found on edmunds.com under Toyota Sienna. Dealer wants $850.00 to fix. It really seems like a defective door yet they want consumer to cover the cost. In addition, dont ever try reaching Toyota on their 800 number unless you have time to spare. I was on hold 60 min before they picked up. Other times I hung up after 20 min. Not concerned for customer.

A relief - 2005 Toyota Sienna
By Toyota Sienna - May 24 - 4:10 amWe were looking for a vehicle that was safe and one that was great for everyone to want to be in and the Sienna is the perfect fit. I am also able to use it for my business and the middle row seats easily come out and the rear seats fold flat. We test drove several vehicles and decided Sienna was the one for us. Plus we were able to get a great deal on it as well.

Better Than Honda! - 2005 Toyota Sienna
By roger - May 21 - 7:43 pmThis van is excellent, I was recently in an accident on I-99 in Sacramento area, and I was side swiped while changing lanes and I hit part of the guardrail as I tried to dodge most of the car that hit me! Well, anyways it was me, my wife, and our 9-year-old daughter! All 3 rows of airbags deployed and so did the front and side airbags up front! I had minor bruises from airbag, but I rather have that than be dead! My wife and daughter didnt have a single scratch! By the way I was going around 60 mph on the freeway at the time! This van has excellent safety features, good fuel economy, very brisk acceleration, ride comfort, and built quality! I did get another Sienna. It is the 06!
