  • An overall great vehicle - 2004 Toyota Sequoia

I have this car for two months now and after 1000 miles have few complaints. Smooth ride, solid construction, very quiet, good acceleration and tons of room. Turning ratio is good, but the vehicle can be a little tough to manuever in parking lots. Rear visibility is partially obscured by rear seat headrests. Gas mileage about 15, but thats expected for a V- 8. My biggest gripe is that auto-off headlamps were not on this vehicle, despite it being listed as standard equipment on Edmunds website. Seems Toyota builds some with it and some without.

  • PRISE FOR SEQUOIA - 2004 Toyota Sequoia

This was choice between GMC Envoy,Isuzu Ascender and Toyota Sequoia. I selected the Sequoia for its value, tight contruction, reliability and smooth ride. I feel totally SAFE behind the wheel.

  • Tough to beat - 2004 Toyota Sequoia

After owning both a Suburban and Expedition, I can say this is the best of the breed. The smooth ride, tight control, luxurious interior, and JBL sound system make long trips enjoyable. The heart of a Tundra and the soul of a Lexus. I love it!

  • Best vehicle Ive ever owned - 2004 Toyota Sequoia
    By -

Purchased new in 2004. Ive done all the dealer recommended services. It has 196,000 miles and still drives like new. Ive had a few expensive repairs like the starter and of course routine maintenance like water pumps and timing belt. Ive also replaced a few parts on the exterior due to sun fading. But it continues to be a solid and reliable vehicle. Insurance is lower because its 12 years old as well as registration. Dealership tells me since weve done all the service it should go 300 too 400k miles. My last vehicle was a chevy Tahoe and GMC Yukon Denali. Both had fewer miles and twice as many repairs.

  • Whats all the hype? - 2004 Toyota Sequoia

I find this vehicle roomy & comfortable, but frustrating! Ignition is great: no holding key. Climate controls are OK. Defogging windshield is difficult. Controls, at steering column & elsewhere, are awkwardly placed & frustrating to use. Beware: power outlets go dead when the car is off. Seats are easy to move once you get used to it. Oddly enough, you cant get the rear spoiler w/the moonroof we wanted. This brings me to the most annoying thing: Noise & odors are ridiculous with open windows. The rear gate window is adjustable, but, dont open it when you accelerate: you will suck fumes. Open the side window and you get a loud pulsating noise. Open the moonroof & it sounds like an airport.

  • One of the best suvs ever! - 2004 Toyota Sequoia

Very dependable, comfortable, loaded with style and performance. Definitely worth spending the $40,000 plus for the Limited edition. The leather is very comfortable epecially with the heated seats. Great family vehicle.

  • Wouldnt trade it for anything! - 2004 Toyota Sequoia

This is the richest looking suv without the outrageous prices. I love toyota and couldnt wait until this vehicle was availible. I however had to wait until my past lease was up for my 4- runner before I could actually get my own. I am so happy now, I could not have asked for a better suv and the service we recieved was all worth the 4 hour visit to the dealership. Thank You Lithia Toyota Vacaville!

Absolutely superb vehicle! Big, roomy, handsomely appointed interior, lots of giddyup in the 8-cylinder engine--4- wheel drive absolutely essential in snowy conditions. Fold up/removable seats in the back a bonus for cargo hauling etc.
