Love my sequoia, very roomy and comfy, added flowmaster gave a little more horsepower and a few more turning heads. Got mine without roofrack for a more longer sleeker look, no need for rack with all the storage space inside. FWD handles great in snow. Kids and hubby love it too. Love My Toy!

  • Why buy a Land Cruiser? - 2003 Toyota Sequoia

This car is huge. But once you get in it and start driving it around, you realize that youre driving a sedan, except for the fact that youre above everyone else. The quietness and smooth ride of this SUV is nothing short of amazing. Toyota specd the Sequoias 0-60 at 9.8 seconds. But I sweart it did it in 7 seconds.

After 63,000 miles it sounds like the dash is going to fall off. In cold weather the plastic contracts and really squeaks, more then any suv I have owned. If you live where the roads are smooth your ok, if your in NY good luck.

  • Superior To American SUVs - 2003 Toyota Sequoia

I have owned Ford and GM SUVs. Tried their 03s including the new Expedition. Sequoia had far superior build quality and materials than Ford or GM. It was quieter than the Expedition for the same money when loaded equally(within $900). It is still rattle and squeak free after 10,000 harsh miles(regularly off road and rough road).

  • wish U.S. wouldve built this - 2003 Toyota Sequoia

I hated to buy other than american but several friends have this and have had no problems towing or diving the beaches surf fishing. My other toyota truck is a 1989 with 155,000 miles and going strong with years of abuse behind her. hope I get that lucky with my new truck/SUV.

  • Most Value for your Money - 2003 Toyota Sequoia

I have owned my Limited 4x4 for 2 months now and the honeymoon is still on. It rides smooth in city as well as on mountain roads, I have made many trips and we have enjoyed all those rides. The great exterior styling makes heads turn on roads and the luxurious interior is best enjoyed by all 8 passengers. The DVD and Gaming options make life free of stress for parents and all so wondeful for the kids.YES you can get a bigger GMC/Ford with more power/luxury features for the same price , but when it comes to safety, reliability, resale value and performace Toyota comes a clear Winner. Sequoia is the Best Full Size SUV Around Go For It, you will not regret!

Overall---great.Driving to florida and back excellant on highyway, city. Some things that could be improved..Also with all SUVs.Dashboard, clock should be on top,too much style rather than efficiently. Its a chore to locate vent ac/heat and others,The driver has to take too much eye focus of the road,to try to figure where things are at.Glove box..why do you need 3 of them?

This vehichle has the whole package. I was really impressed when took a trip to Las Vegas with a full load of passengers and luggage. The Sequoia was comfortable for everyone and there was plenty of power.

  • Huge disapointment - 2003 Toyota Sequoia
    By -

Under 6,000 miles, both battery & rear wiper assembly replaced. Mileage awful, 11 mpg town, max 15 hwy. Cant open sunroof because of sulfur smell (dealer says try different gas - yeah, right) Engine lacks punch and power. Rear visibility awful. Turning radius huge, hard to park. Turn signal indicators blocked by top of steering wheel. Transfer case shift boot impossible to keep clean, interior looks perpetually dirty. Ride comfort good but thats only positive thing I have to say. Never so disappointed in my life, and my 1st SUV was an 88 Trooper II 4-cyl. Wife hates this SUV so much she wants us to trade it in on something, anything else
