Excellent small family hauler - 2006 Toyota RAV4
By Chowdy - September 3 - 11:00 amCar totally met my expectation in all but one regard: Gas Mileage. Whatever formula being used now is wrong by a consistent 10% across three different vehicles Ive purchased in the last three years. Otherwise the v6 version of this baby thrills! Handles well, and accelerates like a scalded dog when you need it.

Love my Rav4 Sport - 2006 Toyota RAV4
By Offroader - August 23 - 11:50 pmI own a 4x4Rav4 V4 sport Silver.I love its cool exterior styling, the side mouldings, sports tuned shocks, thicker tyres gives it an edge over the limited. Ive added mud- guards,side-guard and sun-roof visor to give it a distinct look. The dark windows on a silver body of the Rav4 is worth a second look. The V4 engine is peppy, responsive. In the city i get 21mpg and close to 27mpg highways.

Happy With It! - 2006 Toyota RAV4
By RI CAROL - August 21 - 8:20 amTraded a Highlander for the RAV4. Love the new design and size. Lumbar support is great for driver. The middle bench that slides back/forth is very useful. Storage under the rear storage very useful as well. Happy with my 30 mpg gas mileage.

#1 Car for People of All Ages - 2006 Toyota RAV4
By Rita Mele - July 17 - 8:20 amMy husband is 84 I am 75 this RAV4 is outstanding getting in and out of. It drives like a very expensive British baby carriage and is very comfortable. We have three Toyota vehicles and just feel safe, and the reliability is the best. We would suggest all seniors try RAV4, you will be amazed at reliability, look and comfort. Thanks Toyota!

Best All-Around SUV You Can Buy - 2006 Toyota RAV4
By Chris G - July 4 - 6:20 amThis car is great, quality is world class and the power is unsurpassed in similar small SUVs. Regarding the MPG, if you drive it like a hot rod all the time then you will not get great gas mileage. Yes, I certainly like to experience the raw power every once in awhile - but for the most part I drive like a normal person and dont always test the limits of this car every time I take off. I easily get 25 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway.

Liking It - 2006 Toyota RAV4
By Bree - May 27 - 5:23 amI had a 2002 Ford Explorer that I totaled in a roll over accident & I got the RAV4 to replace it, so far I think it was a great choice! I commute 50 miles to work & it was quite an improvement in fuel efficiency. I live in WI, so I needed something with 4 wheel drive to handle the poor winter driving conditions. After having driven a Ford there is a drastic difference in the design quality of the Toyota- seems to have the driver in mind with the interior layout. I miss having the smoother accelerating power of a V6, but will gladly take the better gas mileage of the RAV4.
