  • I will never buy another Toyota - 2006 Toyota Corolla

Bought this car new after 2004 Toyota Corolla S had manual transmission failure. This car then had manual transmission failure under warranty. Then the ECM was recalled, failed and was replaced. Then the transmission failed again and out $3500.Then the ECM failed after one year so no warranty and out $700. Will never buy another Toyota again.

I have used the car for two years and its a pleasure to ride especially after observing the fuel consumption. The car was selected because of its excellent trim level.

  • Gotta Have It! - 2006 Toyota Corolla

This Corolla is amazing. Im very happy with the experience of owning this vehicle. Toyota definitely has a winner here. My family asked me what I thought and when I had to sum it up my response is simply "What a fun, affordable, sporty smooth car." Its a must have for college students, young married couples and older mature people that just want a no-nonsense kind of vehicle. I rated this vehicle very highly and I meant it!

I was rearended 2 weeks ago by a gentleman doing at least 45 MPH while I was at a dead stop. I thought for sure my trunk and the back of my car was demolished but to my surprise not even close. I had some bumper damage and lost my fenders but that was it! I will recommend this car to everyone I know because it is safe.

  • Great Car - 2006 Toyota Corolla

Corrolla gets 33mpg driving alot of small trips. Anyway this car has a lot of pep for engine size/fuel economy. Also, it looks cool. The body kit really makes it look good. The interior is preety cool in black and a leather steering wheel. Features are are great for an entry level car. Lots of room.

Great car, I love the gas mileage even though it only takes premium. I average about 31 no matter how I drive. It seems very reliable; I had nonstop problems with my VW GTI before this car. The interior looks great at night. It is a lot of fun to drive. I cant get enough of driving around town even with the ridiculous gas prices. I feel like this car got me hooked on Toyotas. I will likely get another Toyota as my next car whenever that may be. I did a lot of research before I bought this car and I am very happy with my decision.

  • A cute small car! - 2006 Toyota Corolla

What a nice car! Honestly, I have 76000 miles on it from 2 years of buying it. I bought this car for commuting reasons so size and looks is not a prob. The MPG is really awesome for the car. For the money, the Corolla is much better than the Yaris. Has more hp, about the same gas mileage, and nice looks. Compared to the 09 model, the Yaris is a much better choice for the $$. But for the 06 and all other years with this look, the Corolla is it! The chairs are a little stiff compared to our 08 Toyota Prius hybrids chairs. There is 1 little thing that I am disappointed about the Corolla, the tank size! It has a 13 gal tank and takes $58 to fill from empty light (not that good for a small car!).

  • Great deal! - 2006 Toyota Corolla

I recently got this car from my parents as a going to school car and for my personal use. For the money, this car is great! This car is pretty much the best thing you can get for your money. This car is loaded with features for the price you pay. The few flaws it has are absolutely obsolete. Its extremely comfortable and supportive and the performance is surprisingly good for a 4 cylinder. The throttle is very responsive and the ride is very comfortable and relatively sporty.

  • Solid car for the typical commuter - 2006 Toyota Corolla

The Corolla feels solid and well built. The drivers seat is comfortable but due to the design of the dash pod?- can feel like you are stretching your arms a bit for the wheel even when the seat is moved forward; not too bad though. Ive gotten between 39mpg all highway and 26mpg heavy city driving (were talking 3 miles of parking lot Boston traffic here) and the car is not broken in yet. Ive noticed: steering has good feel, gas pedal is a bit high for me but cruise on trips helps that, powerful ac and heat, decent sized trunk, area under door handles does seem to get scratched easily, good turning radius but low hood makes it a little tricky to park, decent torque, quiet ride.
