More than happy with my first Camry - 2005 Toyota Camry
By B. Forrester - October 29 - 2:03 pmI formerly drove a Nissan Maxima which I purchased used. Loved the car, but it had occasional problems. I traded it for my 05 Camry. I now have 48,000 miles on it, and have only spent money on oil changes, air filter, cabin filter, and front brake pads (not rotors. I live in the Adirondacks High Peaks region on a private road. Only this year did I decide to put snow tires on. Ive never had any problem with this car, the mileage is good, and Ive never had any acceleration problems. Going from a 6 cyl. Maxima to a 4 cyl. was really no problem. I love the car and features, and will buy another. Its quiet and comfortable.

GREAT CAR - 2005 Toyota Camry
By CMG - October 23 - 10:00 amThis is a great car and like the others said it doesnt look like a regular Camry it is so sporty with the spoiler and 17" wheels. There are not a lot around so that makes them so much more unique. I have the one with the Navigation which is AWESOME. The leather is really nice and not so tight like in most cars...there is more give to it in my opinion which makes it more comfortable. This car drives so nice that on the first test drive we knew this was what we were going to get. We didnt really have an idea what to get but we knew on the first test drive this was it.

Great car! - 2005 Toyota Camry
By hotmamma - October 23 - 10:00 amI have owned this 2005 Camry LE for a month and am extremely happy with it. It is very beautiful (super white). The interior is efficient and pretty. It is very quiet. The ride is super smooth. Love the four headlights on each side. It is even a head turner! Cant think of anything bad to say. Awesome stereo, maybe a bit heavy on the base. Got it (automatic) for $18,000 at Palm Beach Toyota.

Two fatal flaws on a great car - 2005 Toyota Camry
By William2005 - October 23 - 10:00 amExtremely Quiet and Smooth. Corners and brakes much better than expected. Steering wheel is too close to dash and RUINS the seating comfort for tall passengers. Mileage is nowhere near Canadian brochure estimates. Extremely gentle first 1200miles, 80% on highway... 23MPG (US).

More good than bad - 2005 Toyota Camry
By ellicott city - October 20 - 6:56 amYes, there is a hesitation problem, usually not from a long stop but when you slow down to the lowest gears then try to accelerate quickly. So it jerks sometimes. But once up and going, the car is very smooth and quiet. The engine sounds bad or burdened when accelerated hard though. Even though its SE (V6), the ride is very comfortable even on the some bumps. I compared it with Honda accord (4-cyl). I felt that Accord has better transmission and build quality but the ride is terrible. I am getting 23.5 mpg on mostly highway usually traveling at 70 mph. It has a V6 punch and is somewhat fun to drive. The seat is comfy and it handles well.

A small bit of disappointment - 2005 Toyota Camry
By Mardamay - October 19 - 7:13 amI bought my Camry LE 3 months ago and love the comfort and smooth handling of it. I traded in a 95 Altima and find this much more comfortable and roomy. It definitely has the look and feel of a more expensive car, for a reasonable price, and ultimately the practicality and price won out for me. My sole disappointment is the MPG, I dont get the advertised 24/34, but more like 20/28, and I am no speed demon! Overall, a great car!

Reliability Plus - 2005 Toyota Camry
By Jeff - October 3 - 5:20 pmThe best buying experience we have encountered. We used the dealers internet buying program and got great customer service and a very good price. Well made, quality assembly, good fit and finish and the standard equipment is everything we wanted.
