Most AWD bang for the buck. - 2005 Suzuki Aerio
By Terry in KC - August 23 - 7:43 amLooked for second car for wife to complement her Lexus LS400. AWD was a must for KC winter commutes. We looked at just about everything under $20-22K, and kept coming back to this thing. It provides the best combo of power, equipment, warranty, interior, ride, etc near its price point. Better ride, gas mileage than small SUVs, plus quieter & cheaper. Interior style nice, exterior different but we like it. Build quality not Lexus, but neither is price. Very peppy, amazingly little wind noise at 80 mph. Handling wont wow anyone, but not a big factor for us. Resale poor, but should improve with increasing popularity. Biggest complaints: really lousy OEM tires. Spark plugs may be too hot for moderate or warm climates.

By Bkent - December 27 - 1:56 pmMy only complaint about the car so far is its handling and turning ability at high speeds.

Many repair issues - 2005 Suzuki Aerio
By Ava Todd - December 25 - 8:33 pmI like the look of my car but the amount of times I have had to have it repaired (many times for the wheel bearings) and number of tires and other mechanical problems I would not recommend it to anyone. I have been a proud owner of 3 Suzukis before this one. I will not recommend anyone to buy these anymore. This has been a nightmare, including the Suzuki repair service causing more problems also. I am also only getting 17 miles to the gallon and my cruise control doesnt work either.

Excellent AWD economy car - 2005 Suzuki Aerio
By cmquimby - September 1 - 2:03 amI have owned my Aerio LX AWD for about 8 months. It gets great gas mileage, I average about 29 mpg in combined city and highway driving. The climate control works perfectly. The six disc in-dash Clarion CD changer and seven speaker stereo (including subwoofer) make up a high end system for such an inexpensive car. The Aerio has decent power (155 hp), but I do wish that they offered the AWD version with a manual transmission. Dry weather handling is very good, I have improved the handling of mine with a larger than stock rear swaybar.

Fun small car - 2005 Suzuki Aerio
By Jaime Ramirez - June 28 - 6:43 amMy Suzuki Aerio is small, practical, and my kids love it. My wife drives it more the our SUV. It turns heads, and most of all with prices of gas now its a winner.

The Little BIG Car! - 2005 Suzuki Aerio
By Jess - August 20 - 9:06 pmAfter renting two Aerios, once to drivefrom Seattle to Portland, OR, and back, and second to use for a week in Palm Springs, CA, I literally fell in love with this powerful, frisky, solid, and adorable car! I owned a high end Cadillac, and longed for a reason to move to Suzuki. Even bought an extended warranty, and plan to drive this equisite and personable charmer as long as its willing to go . . .It sucks up everything on the highway, and also slides easily into tight city parking. Heartily recommend!!

Peppy Aerio SX AWD - 2005 Suzuki Aerio
By amentzriona - June 2 - 5:00 pmInitially, when I brought this vehicle, I was terrified by the gas mileage that I originally had. I wasnt happy with the it and I spoke with the dealership. They told me that it was normal and that it would get better within the next 5,000 miles. I was really skeptical but they were true to their word. I currently have 10,000 miles on the car and I never regret my decision on buying this vehicle.

Quick Ride - 2005 Suzuki Aerio
By SXer - December 18 - 1:33 pmI have had my Aerio SX Wagon for a year now and it is great. It handles well and looks good. I searched for a good car with good horsepower and came across the Aerio. Its 2.3 DHOC engine is great. I wanted to get another one but Suzuki does not make them anymore. I will have to settle for the Sedan. This car can do more if it had more performance parts.
