  • Best In Class - 2005 Suzuki Aerio

I must be honest. My other car is a Porsche, so I expect alot from a car. I have an SX version, red with auto trans. This car is great for an all around commuter - 28 mpg, lots of room for passengers and cargo with more power than anything else for 15,500. Most Materials for the interior are outstanding for price. I think it compares well with the likes of Honda CRV and Hyundai Tuscon, if you dont need the extra 10-15 cubic feet of cargo space - especially with the Aerio being $5-7,000 less. The handling could be a little crisper with flatter cornering, but the red dash lights and the supurb stereo system more than makes up for it. I dont seem to be driving my Porsche so much.

Overall, this car is excellent for its price. It sure has power and can haul some butt on the road. At first, you may not expect it to be too great for being a new car on the market, but try it and youll end up liking it.

After driving my saturn for 4 years, I went to purchase another small vehicle due to my long working commute. But, I live in Pa and the weather can be harsh at times...this car got me through the mountains, the horror of driving the highway with all the 18wheelers!! This car is fun, turns the heads of drivers on the highway..and I feel totally safe inside

  • Much more than expected - 2005 Suzuki Aerio

I bought the Aerio SX after surgery because it allowed easy in and out access, and have ended up falling in love with it over the last four years! This car is exceptionally well made (the Japanese are famous for this!) and outperforms many of the more expensive autos Ive owned such as Volvo, BMW, Cadillac, VW and MG. Great gas mileage, ultra reliable, has remained tight and rattle free, and shows little wear over the years. Yes, the front bumper is low, and Id prefer larger tires, but hey, overall no complaints at all with this little gem! The anti-lock brakes and AWD are life savers over and over again. Transmission smooth as silk. Best value for reasonable price!

  • Most AWD bang for the buck. - 2005 Suzuki Aerio

Looked for second car for wife to complement her Lexus LS400. AWD was a must for KC winter commutes. We looked at just about everything under $20-22K, and kept coming back to this thing. It provides the best combo of power, equipment, warranty, interior, ride, etc near its price point. Better ride, gas mileage than small SUVs, plus quieter & cheaper. Interior style nice, exterior different but we like it. Build quality not Lexus, but neither is price. Very peppy, amazingly little wind noise at 80 mph. Handling wont wow anyone, but not a big factor for us. Resale poor, but should improve with increasing popularity. Biggest complaints: really lousy OEM tires. Spark plugs may be too hot for moderate or warm climates.

  • Excellent AWD economy car - 2005 Suzuki Aerio

I have owned my Aerio LX AWD for about 8 months. It gets great gas mileage, I average about 29 mpg in combined city and highway driving. The climate control works perfectly. The six disc in-dash Clarion CD changer and seven speaker stereo (including subwoofer) make up a high end system for such an inexpensive car. The Aerio has decent power (155 hp), but I do wish that they offered the AWD version with a manual transmission. Dry weather handling is very good, I have improved the handling of mine with a larger than stock rear swaybar.

My Suzuki Aerio is small, practical, and my kids love it. My wife drives it more the our SUV. It turns heads, and most of all with prices of gas now its a winner.
