Overview & Reviews
As the Aerio is a recent introduction to the market, there aren't that many changes for 2003. Suzuki has bumped the horsepower up by four to 145 and nudged the torque up one pound-foot to 135. Other additions include integrated cruise control buttons on the steering wheel, a three-point seatbelt and headrest for rear center seat and a new cloth design. The GS and SX models drop the rear-seat armrest, get a six-disc in-dash CD player and have the optional all-wheel-drive available.
- Wagon-body style, available all-wheel drive, affordable price, large interior, powerful standard engine.
- Strange interior design, missing some key features.

who knew ? - 2003 Suzuki Aerio
By R_ALPH - July 14 - 10:00 amWHO KNEW SUZUKI AERIO IS SUCH A NICE CAR. I LOOKED AT AND DROVE LANCER, CIVIC AND COROLLA, BUT LOOKING FOR SOMETHING AFFORDABLE RELIABLE AND FUN ISNT EASY. THE OTHER BRANDS OFFER CHEEP MODELS AS WELL, BUT ITS HARD TO CALL THEM "WELL EQUIPPED" OR SPORTY.

Fun for tiny bucks - 2003 Suzuki Aerio
By jlandshark - July 4 - 2:00 amI have around 10,000 miles on the car now. It has been a fun car to drive with great gas milage. For going to and from work it can not be beat. Lots of interesting looks and questions from others on the street. Way cheaper and faster than the Protege5 and the Matrix.

My New Car - 2003 Suzuki Aerio
By SuzukiKidA5 - June 12 - 2:00 amI have thoroughly enjoyed my suzuki. I am a past suzuki owner and have been impresseg with their line-up right from the days of the sj410 (samurai). The only drawback I see to the Aerio is the lack of aftermarket performane enhancements like an exhaust kit . K and N makes a typhoon kit for the car and it makes a bit of difference in the performance and a substantial difference in fuel economy. As I am a tall man, 63", I really appreciate the headroom in the front and back seat!!

Very nice!!! - 2003 Suzuki Aerio
By kiska - March 25 - 10:00 amThis is a little jewel. Fun to drive, squirts thru traffic & very comfortable. In Europe the car is known as the Liana, and kudos to Suzuki for bringing it to the states.

Interior great (except display panel) - 2003 Suzuki Aerio
By acechikita - March 25 - 10:00 amOkay, you have to understand I purchased this car for economical reasons. I drove an Integra that was quick and love to drive fast. This car is fairly zippy for fun driving downtown and is comfortable on highways. Its faster thasn the Protege 5, Toyota Camry and cheaper than a Civc once you add all of the sporty features. Id like to try and sell it before my lease is up so I hope it holds its value well!

good car watch resale value - 2003 Suzuki Aerio
By belden - March 5 - 8:00 pmHave enjoyed this car. Moves well although not so fast at picking up speed and up major hills works hard. Winshield defrost is not so good. The left and right sides of windshiel do not defrost well. Usually have to scrape when frosted. Side mirrors not too stable, jiggle in the wind. Overall, decent car if you can get at a decent price.

Close Counts - 2003 Suzuki Aerio
By Fredmon - February 15 - 10:00 amIve was shopping in the sports sedan/crossover category for a few months. On a whim I test drove the Susuki Aerio SX. Initially I was skeptical that a car of this price could pack in the features that it does. When compared. with the Matrix/Vibe I was sold. 14000 hard miles later, I continue to be impressed. I get 31-35 MPG at highway speeds and I love the interior room ( Im 64" )Actually, this is my third Suzuki, I owned a Samuri for many years while living in USVI and was never let down by the rugged engineering and reliabilty especially when you consider the the abuse it took on crappy island roads. . The Aerio is a good value. Recommended.

Best buy, and Ive been looking forever - 2003 Suzuki Aerio
By Luv my aerio - January 3 - 2:00 amI have my yellow Aerio SX hatchback and I love all of the looks I get. Ive been looking for about 3 months now. Ive driven every car in its class and this is by far the best buy for your money. With the $2000 rebate or 0% interest rate, its much cheaper than the Toyota Matrix and the Pontiac Vibe. There is much more room in the back seat. Theres a built in cover for your privacy of articles in the trunk. The reversable floor mat and water bucket are very nice. Theres lots of storage in the rear and an additional cup holder for the back passengers. It drives like a champ. Theres plenty of pick up and the gas just never ends.

Traded in my Aerio after 2 MO/8K CAUTION - 2003 Suzuki Aerio
By gkxp - November 16 - 10:00 amIn April, I bought a 2003 Suzuki Aerio S. The low price, black interior, 145HP Engine and digital dash sold me. Now in June and after 8000 miles, I traded it in. Reasons? VERY BAD handling in windy/highway driving! Black fabric on drivers-side door trim armrest is already pealing off. Be forewarned if you do a lot of highway driving as I do. Depreciation Percentage higher than others in class.
