Love this car. Great performance. Turbo lag is minimal. I compared the GT to Infiniti G35 and I liked the interior of the GT better. More clean. You cannot find another car equipped as well as the Ltd. for the money. Also, surprisingly smooth ride, for a sports sedan. I would like to see a 6 speed manual.

Traded my Mercedes: never looked back. No matter what we put on it or in it, it HAULS with class and grace. MPG 23 in town, 27 on the highway with a sportshift auto. Better in every way than my sons 2001 GT. Handles snow, ice, hard rain and speed with no problems. Family fights to drive it!

The car is great. Almost no turbo lag and unbelievable power. Seats are very supportive, sound system is incredible. Everything seems to have a very high quality feel to it including the floor mats. I tested a GT with a manual trans and opted for the automatic. Take off and passing is pure fun. Love this car.

I bought my Sub after seeing so many in the mountains of California. I now live in Alabama and I love driving it all year round, but it is definitely a cold weather car! The vents blow warm air so I have to keep the AC on all the time in the spring, summer and fall. The AC has a hard time keeping up with the 100+ degree weather and high humidity. But it handles great in the torrential downpours we get here and I wouldnt trade it.

This car has it all. Comfort, safety, and fun. All wheel drive 250HP turbo is unbelievable. I test drove a WRX but realized it couldnt be the family car I needed. The Legacy GT was the answer. I test drove 330s, TL, TSX, 9-3, A-4. Nothing comes close to the fun of the Legacy. The all wheel drive along with the power is an unbeatable combination. Youve got to test drive it to understand.

Driving out to look at the Acura one more time and possibly sign papers on it, I passed the Subaru dealership. Im so glad I did because it was love at first sight. I drove the Legacy and the Acura was a distant memory. For much less money I got much more car. I wasnt expecting this much; after all, I owned a 91 Legacy and it was a very reliable but very basic car. This car is beautiful and a blast to drive. Has everything I want and more. All of which was standard equipment! 250 HP, ventilated heated leather seats, 6 CD changer, dual climate control, Sportshift, 17" low profile wheels, signal indicators on side mirrors, DRL, AWD, fuel usage and temp display. All this for around $26,000.

  • Best in Snow, fun in sun - 2005 Subaru Legacy

A survived a 40 mile commute during this last Ohio winter because of this car. Excellent handling in ice and snow. Sport shifting down much safer then braking on ice. It is nice to have the automatic with the option to shift manual. Now that the sun is out the sun roof is open. I love down shifting and zooming up steep hills.

Winter is coming and the pleasure keep growing . It is my first AWD and Subaru . I had a Infinity G-20 before . It was more luxury but this one is quiet and very fun to drive . Engine has a pretty sound and is quick enough . The pick up is good at any speed with manual transmission . Good supprise without the turbo and the gazoline ( no super ) cost . On icy road , i had fun fun fun . It is a winner .

I bought this car used with 86000 miles, now has 96000 miles. The cars only issue is a whining noise from the engine that I hear only when it is cold. This noise goes away after about 3-4 min of warm up.I live in Montana where there are serious long distance stretches of open highways and I just love the way this car holds the road it feels almost as if its on rails but still rides comfortable. The 250 hp engine really gives it up when you need it.The manual transmission is such a perfect match to the engine that turbo lag is never an issue. After 4 1/2 months I still love it every time I get behind the wheel. Now winter is here and the car is proving its all weather capabilities in the snow.

The dealer is 200 miles away, but the service was superior to any closer dealers. The power is fantastic - roll on from any speed and you have lots of it. The car could use a few niceties, such as stereo controls on the steering wheel, memory seats and a little more rear leg room. Other than that, it has been reliable, fun to drive and comfortable. We just returned from a family vacation of 3000 miles return trip. Not many complaints from my wife and daughter.
