This Year's Model Updates:

Saturn has upgraded the Ion with new fabrics, improved plastics and a new radio with MP3 and satellite radio capability. The electric steering has been revised for improved feel at highway speeds, while the sedan's five-speed automatic and the coupe's CVT have been recalibrated for improved gear selection and response. Finally, Saturn has installed additional sound-deadening material to reduce cabin noise. A Special Edition version of the sedan provides black exterior paint, distinctive 16-inch wheels and a two-tone interior.

I believe that this vehicle lives up to the Saturn standards. So if you never liked Saturn to begin with this isnt the car for you. Its not very flashy but its pretty comfortable and reliable. Its not the best buy but it will get you from point A to point B.

Park where you want, no shopping cart dings in these polymer doors. Move throgh traffic or on the open road with plenty of power to spare. Huge 4 wheel brakes will stop you NOW. Ive never owned a Saturn before, but one drive in the Redline, and I was sold. Looked at Scion Tc, WRX Sti, and Srt4. This car is the pefect marriage of performance and everday practicality; insurance was way cheaper than the others too!

This is the 2nd car Ive had, Im 17 and its totally perfect for me! Its so cute and fits me. The performance is great, I havent found any problems with it at all; even my mom likes to drive it. Its super fun to drive, and Im pretty protective of it. My last car (Ford Contour) was a dud but this car is awesome!

This is my first manual transmission in a while. I like having the control over the engine so I can take it easy for great gas mileage or power when needed. The 2.2 has a flat torque curve with plenty of power in the low RPMs for easy shifting. Car very smooth on road. Special features like the electric steering and center mounted speedometer get more natural and easier to use as I drive the car. Definitely if youre thinking of a Saturn take advantage of the 24 hour test drive.

I bought an ION after owning a 92 Saturn SC and being so pleased with it. I was VERY disappointed with the ION. It rattled, parts came off all the time, brakes werent that good. I definitely got my moneys worth out of that warranty. Good for a first car, but after having had high quality, I cant go back to Saturn.

Ive had this car for a month and it has been great. Its quick, and the manual transmission works great. I dont know what people are talking about when they say that the car is uncomfortable, I find very comfortable. The gas mileage so far hasnt been great, but other than that the car hasnt let me down. Also there is a group called Saturn Motorsports that offers a full line of aftermarket parts. I plan on getting in contact with them and getting a few things for my new ION. This car is a great car with lots of power for its size.

Excellent car at a very reasonable price.

No problems at all. Not bad for the price. No reason to buy a Jap car with this on the market.
