Overview & Reviews
The Vibe is an all-new model in Pontiac's lineup designed to combine the best attributes of an SUV, a station wagon and a small van. Thankfully, the result is rather attractive and hip, not to mention utilitarian.
- Crisp handling, unique features, utilitarian design.

I like it! - 2003 Pontiac Vibe
By Frank Guthrie - October 28 - 2:00 amI bought this one because of the good reviews and the fact I felt like I was actually getting a Toyota from General Motors. I liked the idea of the station wagon features and the advertised good mileage. Unfortunately, it was difficult to find Vibes at my dealer, and I had to settle for one that didnt have the anti-lock brakes and anti-theft deterent and side airbags which I really, really wanted.

Built Like A Tank - 2003 Pontiac Vibe
By BLUZ LVR - September 18 - 4:36 pmUnfortunately, in the 2 years we have owned our GT my husband & I each had an accident. I launched it off the mtn side falling out of mid-air into the creekbed after hitting a patch of gravel...no real visible damage. My husband got a flat, steered it across traffic, up an incline downing a fence, then rolled it after hitting a huge boulder...no one was hurt. It held up better than the Toyota Corolla it replaced. Windows stayed intact; no fluid leaks...What a champ!! Having a hard time finding another now that this one was totaled. Lots of research went into this purchase for us...my husband needed comfort and we needed to be able to transport music & sports equipment. Highly recommended!

110 k and still a great little car - 2003 Pontiac Vibe
By paganpink - September 17 - 9:00 pmI have the regular FWD with auto. and moon and tunes pkg. Get around 30 mpg (combined) no matter how hard I drive, which is impressive. Recently passed 110,000 miles and have had to replace nothing but oil and tires, and just bought tires for the first time in 3 years. Super little vehicle with an amazing amount of space inside considering how compact it is on the outside, smaller in size than an older Honda civic! Easy to drive and park, small turning radius, and (w/the optional sound system) very loud and great sounding sound. No squeaks or rattles and handles surprisingly well in the turns. One of the best cars I have ever owned and I have had dozens. A Toyota at heart but w/Pontiac styl

High Mileage Vibe GT - 2003 Pontiac Vibe
By boblather - June 29 - 11:10 pmWith just over 80,000 miles on my 2003 Vibe GT, and flawless reliablity I can recommend this vehicle without reservation. The Vibe truly comes to life at high RPMs, and its lower RPM response is better than protrayed by the automotive press. I have been pleased with its frugality, obtaining consistently greater than 30 MPG, and never less than 28 MPG even with hard driving. It truly is a versatile people mover, able to hold a family of five and requisite luggage. The AC outlet is great, although no longer available. As for its looks, its grows on you over time. This car is truly has been a pleasure to own.

Love my Vibe! - 2003 Pontiac Vibe
By Feather - May 31 - 11:33 amWe bought the Vibe new in 2003 and have only had to do the brakes, oil changes, and tires - and were almost at 100K (97K right now). Even though we cant fit three car seats in the back (darn!) and have #3 on the way, we are keeping this car as my husbands daily driver. Easy to drive, enough horsepower for me - LOVE the storage capabilities with this car, and I would recommend one to anyone. Definitely impressed with my first (and what seems like my last due to the demise of the brand) Pontiac.
