Happy SE-R owner - 2008 Nissan Sentra
By Darren - May 24 - 12:30 amI picked up the SE-R in May of 2008 to replace my 2000 Grand AM GT. This car is well worth it. Excellent mileage. It looks great, not too over the top. Acceleration is brisk, but not rocket fast. It handles well with a sporty feel, corners better than my Grand Am GT ever did. The interior is roomy and can fit 3 booster seats for kids across the back row (tight fit, but it works). Front seats are great. Trunk is large and easy to access. Upgraded Rockford Fosgate Stereo is powerful and clear. 6 Disc changer is a nice feature, but most will use their MP3 players in the aux jack more than the changer. Gripes are few, no cup holders in the rear and back bench does not split or fold.

I love my car!! - 2008 Nissan Sentra
By Chris713 - April 10 - 5:56 amLove the Saddle leather, love the Rockford Fosgate system with integrated Bluetooth, love the performance. CVT requires learning to get optimal fuel mileage. I get 28-30 city & 34 hwy. Original Bridgestones were only good for 20K miles but I expected that. All around, I love my car and I actually traded down from a Maxima. only 1 minor drag is that theres only 1 power outlet. WHY? Its a great car for the money. Ive had ZERO problems and Ive got close to 30K on the odometer. Couldnt say the same for my Max.

Sentra lover - 2008 Nissan Sentra
By C.Kushner - March 12 - 6:36 amI went shopping for an economical car for a reasonable price, and found it and more. With all the equipment and luxury car features the car has, it cant be beat. The ride is smooth and quiet and roomy. The CVT makes it very responsive.

I love my Sentra! - 2008 Nissan Sentra
By jessbugg - January 20 - 7:26 pmI bought my Sentra used from a dealership in early 2010, it was originally a rental car so had a few extra miles on it. I have put over 40,000 miles on it mainly driving back and forth from TN to FL for school and I have never had any problems. Its a great car, gets good gas mileage on the highway and I have not had problems with an "uncomfortable ride" I only recently replaced my tires & brake pads but the car has 70,000+ miles on it now. Ive had no issues with the engine or anything under the hood, but I do get regular oil changes and maintenance checks since I do so much highway driving. Everyone always thinks my car is newer than an 08, I love it!

All I need in a car - 2008 Nissan Sentra
By KW - October 2 - 3:46 amAfter owning only American cars I love my Nissan Sentra, my wife owns an 06 Altima. We have 5 kids, 3 at home, and this car is quick (CVT), great gas mileage, 29 city and 34 Hwy. I am 62 and find it very comfortable with space left in the back for an adult with extra head room. I think it is very quiet and runs on the highway very smoothly for a small car. Now is it like my pervious Lincoln Towncar, no way. But is far better than any other midsize car I have owned. The only complaint is winter time in Iowa, being small it can be a challenge to drive in very heavy snow. I love this car and it is all I need.

Very Impressed - 2008 Nissan Sentra
By Mark - August 19 - 3:36 pmI will say that I looked at the Honda Civic and the Toyota Corolla. The Sentra was levels above on both. The Sentra with the CVT made the deal even better. Overall the Sentra had a great feel and value as well as great fuel economy.

Highly recommend - 2008 Nissan Sentra
By defabz - May 4 - 6:23 amI have 5,250 miles on my Sentra, and I absolutely love it. I had a 2006 Sentra, but there is no comparison. It is perfect for a small family, even when traveling. The back seat is quite comfortable. I was not getting a new car until one with leather and a sunroof was in my budget. Well, I got that plus blue tooth, upgraded stereo, keyless, and more. Gas mileage has been excellent - 30 when mostly in town, 35-38 on hwy. Gas mileage drops quickly if you drive aggressively, so I have had to really adjust to get the better efficiency. Final deciding factor - Nissan negotiates! I got it for $2,000 below dealer cost and in the color I wanted (transferred in).

My Sentra is perfect, not one problem - 2008 Nissan Sentra
By clem238 - April 29 - 5:33 amI have had my Sentra for two years; not one time have I had to do anything to it (did get new tire only because I ran over a box-knife blade) Love my car; had no problems on ice either. Not sure why other people have had problems. As with any car, something may go wrong, not every car is perfect...well, my Sentra has been so far, tee hee

So far, love it - 2008 Nissan Sentra
By Pat - February 23 - 2:33 pmLooked at GTIs, civic si, minis, Astra, the usual sporty compact crowd. Drove the Sentra Spec V and it just seemed to do everything well where all the others did some stuff better, but fell short in other ways. The Sentra fit my needs - more space, great mpg, Nissan gave me moonroof, LS diff, xm radio, fun ride but not brutal, torque means any gear pulls great. Love it!
